There are some wonderful scenes, added dialog to some scenes. They are worth
the money. I got mine from Marg in Toronto.

Just to be clear, the difference exists only in the first season, when CBS
Crimetime After Primetime cut as much as was legally possible for
commercials. Among the stuff they cut was the fact that Nick couldn't
hypnotize Nat in Only the Lonely and Janette's visit to the station house in
a later episode the name of which is eluding me at the moment.

The second and third seasons were the same length in both countries.

Hi Y'all!

I'm really wishing I was a vampire right about now. I wasn't going to
burden y'all with my troubles but I decided I needed all the help I can
get, even Nick's or LaCroix's <shudder>.

I'm having a biopsy on a suspicious "lump" tomorrow morning and I could
really use some good thoughts, prayers, and positive energy tomorrow.
Thanks!

You've got it!
And I heartily suggest that you immediately go to a good nutritionist and
find out what might have caused the lump in the first place. Most people
treat their cars better than they treat their bodies. Find out what
nutrient your body lacks to put things a'right asap, okay?

Praying for you,

I'm reasonably sure that Tracy did it too - at least once. Unfortunately, I
can't remember the ep, so I can't confirm my faulty memory :-)

That's certainly a description of much of fanfic.
Personally, I like stories that hew closely to the
characters as I've learned to know them from the
series. I like a Nick, Nat, and Lacroix that I can
recognize <g>. Or else a strong ... er ... original
and definitely alternative vision, such as Libby's
rodentophile Natalie. One of the toughest things
in fanfic is to get the authentic tone of the characters,
and that's why I think that collaborating on stories,
or getting outside opinions from people whom you
trust to *know* the sound of the character's voice
in their own heads, is important.

> And isn't this the reason we launch wars? In a war, we use the factions and
> ourselves as playing pieces too!

One of my favorite things about War is the collaboration on
posts: I've worked on War posts in which I can no longer
remember who wrote which bit, including me! I think that's
really cool -- the subsuming of individual egos into a common
vision of FK that can be shared and one hopes enjoyed by all
who love the series. OK, I'm off my soapbox ...

Hey there FK trivioids. What was inscribed in the silver pillbox that Nat
got for Nick. (Only the Lonely, I think).

Also, did she get him the watch that was used to frame him in the second
season opener? If so, what was the inscription there.

If anyone can help on this, please feel free to respond offlist to

Hi all!!

Don F. kindly suggested a new way that I might be able to transfer the great
music video Eve <waves enthusiastically at Don and Eve) did, so if there is
anyone (Brenda, Rose?) that did not get it and still wants it, I am willing
to give it a go again.

Please email me off List and I will be happy to give it a try, give me a
little while, though, I have to email it to myself first <g> and that will
take about an hour and a half. Go ahead and send me your requests, by all
means, just know that it will be a bit before I can try this new thing
(forwarding it with the attachment, thanks Don!!).

Have a great day all!!

Forever Yours,

Thank you, Tim. You're a star!! I'm a tad worried that AOL sadistically

hoping that it's lying. <g>

Did someone say that they will make a Nick-Lacroix video in the next few
weeks?

I'm posting ths with McLisa permission.

I have heard from 2 different non FK fan fic lists that I am on that Yahoo
plans on closing Geocities down in the near future.

I want to emphasize that, at this point, its still JUST A RUMOR (not yelling,
just stressing) but those of you with sites being hosted on Geocities might
want to check it out.

Yes, I've heard this rumor as well, however I've seen nothing to substantiate
it. Also, Geocities has sent a survey out, indicating that they are expanding
their web-based services. Just in case, I do have my files backed up on CD-ROM
(I learned from Tripod and several computer crashes that it's better to be safe
than sorry).

Since this has to do with FK sites I'll pass along this info to the list.
Geocities is not closing down per Mary Osako, Senior PR Manager for Yahoo Inc.
She said on Monday. "GeoCities is and will continue to be a thriving online
community."
Read all about it at:
http://urbanlegends.about.com/science/urbanlegends/library/weekly/aa043001a.htm

Perhaps LC started the rumor just to watch people panic, or maybe it was those
nasty scientists in AMPH.

Is there a way we could send a blank, writeable CD-ROM and a SASE, and get this
video? My connection probably would time out before the hour and a half was
up. Uploading my own programs to various web sites has been a challenge, to
say the least. I have an 8 MB Shareware game, which took about 3 hours and
multiple tries to upload. I can't wait until I move this fall, probably,
and get a faster internet connection!

E-mail me privately if I can send you the CD-ROM.

Yes, I made a new Nick and LC video last weekend, along with a Nick (for
light knighties) one. I made a Nick and Nat one about a month ago too. Those
and many regular new ones from the latest episodes I have screen-captured
will be up in about a week! The new movie server's almost ready.
