Not a bad idea. She was in the dream later on...off in Montreal with Nick
helping him fight the critters there. I really wish I could *show* everyone
what these aliens looked like. Remember the Weebles from Fisher-Price?
("Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down.") These things were sort of
flat-bottomed, floating Weebles. Laurie, when you get done talking to your
subconscious, maybe you should take a crack at mine. <BG>

This is true. My bro visited Russia for a while and came back singing parts
of a popular song that went "Rah rah Rasputin, lover of the Russian Queen!"
He explained that the song said that no matter how slimy or terrible
Rasputin was made out to be, he somehow ended up in the arms of every lady
in the court. <G>

You know, it really makes me wonder about the origin of the recipe. Was
there some poor fisherman who was so hard up for a drink of some sort that
he wondered what fermented fish intestines would taste like? Did somebody
do this on purpose, or was it just a barrel of salted fish that wound up
being prepared improperly? I can picture LaCroix in his mortal Lucius days
opening the barrel, wrinkling his nose at the smell, tasting a bit from a
fingertip and saying, "Not bad...wonder what it would taste like over
sorbet?" And then promptly killing the poor fool who'd made the mistake in
the first place...after first getting the recipe so he could monopolize the
market in rotten fish guts.

Hi everyone!

Guess what? After being down over a week and a half, my site is finally
back! :) Xoom/NBCi had a server outbreak on some of their sites and mine was
one. They had to fix it and have been doing some sort of maintenance. It
seems to be back to normal now.

Latest updates include:
69 pictures from "Outside the Lines," 110 pictures from "A More Permanent
Hell," and 130 pictures from "Partners of the Month" to the Image Archives.
I do have lots of movies to add including a Nick and Nat music video, but
unfortunately I can not add any movies until the second server for movies is
fixed. It won't be working for a while, probably about a month. When it
does work out, expect LOTS of cool new clips.

Sorry for being down so long,
Kristin

Kristen, you've got so much stuff on your site that that week-and-a-half
just gave us all time to try to catch up! :) For anybody who hasn't been to
her site yet, this is one more incredible resource.

Let me thank everybody who has posted pics, videos, and sound files to the
web. I understand how much time and effort is involved, and I appreciate it
muchly!

quote on the back cover: "Swords and lances, arrows, machine guns, and even
high explosives have had far less power over the fate of nations than the
typhus louse, the plague flea and the yellow-fever mosquito." Which makes
it sound more Uncle's cup of tea than Screed's, but still...)

Subject: The Tripod TOS Glitch

I discovered a workaround for the Tripod problem. Renaming the directory caused
the "missing" files in my account to suddenly become available. Their software
must be looking for files in specific locations. Until I tried that, everything
I uploaded said file not found, even though the file appeared to be there.

So if anyone is still having problems with their Tripod account, that's what you
can do.

I wonder how Nick would have reacted to that little glitch if it was his
website? I suspect he'd have hopped an airplane to wherever Tripod is,
someplace in California I think, and whammy the programmers. <g>

CD at 5'5" makes her a little more than an inch taller than me. I'm between
5'3" and 5'4" depending on who's measuring me. And it also makes sense as she
seems to fit under Ger's chin.

Anyone know how old CD is?

Ger is what? 6'1"? I'm visualizing scenes of Nick hugging Nat and that

So, does Nat win an honorary place in the Petite Legion? <g>

Ger's about 5'10" or 11"---same height as my brother. That's what I base my
