Subject: Horses and riders
I don't know whether Ger can ride or not, but I do know that in long
shots, or any time you can't see the horse and the rider's face clearly
at the same time, it's almost always a stunt rider.
I do know those were stunt doubles in the chase long shots for Hunted.
When you see the close-ups, they're not really on horseback. It seems
the horses were scared of the smoking effect. For insurance reasons if
nothing else, the actors couldn't be allowed to ride even if they'd
wanted to after the horses spooked.
The way Deborah Duchene told it in an interview, she got out to the
location and found Ger sitting on the shoulders of one of the crew,
looking anxious, while the camera filmed at an angle from which you
couldn't tell the "horse" was a human.
Then they turned to her and said, "Ok, Deb, you're next."
Another reason you don't usually see the real actors in anything
in longshots is because their time is too valuable. Usually that
would be second unit work, with a rider whose features can't be
seen and who is about the same build as the actor. Meanwhile back
at the studio (yes, I did think of putting in "ranch" <g>), the
actors are filming scenes which require them to be recognizable.

Hate to tell you this but KROQ, my son's favorite station, is no longer
considered alternative by its listeners. It's considered main stream now.
As for getting them to play the FK CD, I'll ask Daniel since I never listen
to the radio. I listen to the FK CD. Radio. Pfui. FK CD. Ahhhh! Very
nice to the ears. Anyway, if Daniel thinks KROQ will play it, I'll find out
how to do it.
Questions: 1) Which song do you think would best fit into the KROQ format?
2) When is the best time of day for the maximum amount of
exposure?

Don't know if anyone pays much attention to this, but for anyone that has
this linked on their home page or bookmarked for the Web:
Yahoo has changed their URL for the Forever Knight list of pages. It's now:
http://www.yahoo.com/Entertainment/Television/Shows/Horror/Forever_Knight/
We're under the Horror section now (it used to be ../Shows/Science_Fiction).
Right on the same page as KtE, The Outer Limits, Friday the 13th, Dark
Shadows, and the XFiles. But wait, most of the shows listed under
the Horror list are STILL on the Science Fiction list too. Just not
FK. (I think Friday the 13th isn't on the FK list too, maybe a couple others).
Regardless, finding the FK stuff on Yahoo, IMHO, is kind of difficult.
Try finding it without doing a search and without using the address
I listed above. It isn't easy. Don't know about you, but I'm a little
miffed about this.

"Bad Blood" is the one your mentioning above.
"Hunters" is the one where Schanke is being hunted down by an excop who
hates him, flashback being the one where the Terrible Trio get caught in a
house by vampire hunters and Nick gets absolutely bloodthirsty to the nth
degree....with the help of LaCroix "No Mercy!!!!"

Actually, I believe he was being serious, probably signed on with the Dead
as a dark joke (hehehhe) but the next sequence is definitely a dream as
well...but Uncle looks pretty good in his leathers as well doesn't he? The
whole thing is kind of an analogy, not even from the crazy crowd can Nick
get acceptance for what he is.....I think. Also, he obviously wakes up after
he focuses in on the girl in the blonde wig and sunglasses...

This one thing, in and of itself, was the only thing that I didn't care for
in the series. Yes it is true that our boy must feel angst and pain about
what he is, after all the whole premise of the show is that he wants to
get back to his humanity. But lets face it, did he really have to be in such
pain ALL the time? The writers could have been a little nicer to Nick. With
the terrific guy that he is, he should have been allowed a little more happiness
once in a while on the show! His level of happy should have been a little more
commeasurate with his level of having atoned for what he considered his *evil*.
The nature of a vampire is to kill, Nick more than proved that restraint was a
quality that he did *indeed* possess.

Here is the final FK NetRatings update I'll be posting to the list.
Summarized below are all three seasons worth of episodes. I'll keep
taking votes from those who've missed an episode or for those lucky
enough to get the SCI-FI channel <grumble>, and the web page for the
