I really do not have the time. I HAVE to work on my thesis. REPEATING: I am not going to be the Die-Hard leader. NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT!!!!! However, I am willing to coordinate things fro now and set up a email loop for Die-Hards interested in taking part in the war. (surely someone in our group has the time and ability to lead...) So, If you are a Die-Hard, and wish to plan and plot as much as is possible before a war, email me. (ME, NOT the list) Tell me your name (or whatever name/alias you wish to go by in the war) and your email address (if you have several, just tell me which one(s) you intend to use for the war). A short description of what you look like would be useful too. We Die-Hards may not control any of the main characters, but we have an Enforcer in our group (Hi, Ron!), we can work with anyone we wish, we provide a safe haven for anyone who needs it, and outside of Dawn's interesting responces to vampire blood (temporary insanity) and torture by mercs (a different temporary insanity) (do you see a theme here?)(Now some other group can deal with an insane leader/member <g> ), we are a fairly stable, sane, fun group. If you can't decide between several factions; or you like the interplay of the characters, not just one particular character, come join the Die-Hards. If you eventually decide to join some other faction during the war, well that just provides more fodder for writing and having fun (Why change? seduction by finally getting up-close-and-personal with certain vampires; seeing some other faction in action, and deciding, "hey that's for me;" whatever) We Die-Hards might embarrass you, but never, never would we try to coerce you into doing or being something you don't wish. Yikes! It's 4:30 am already, I should go to bed. I am on digest for FORKNI-L, so if you post there it might take awhile for me to see it, or I might miss it as I scan though, so PLEASE, email me directly. Laura Ruggiero (larug@s.......) Die-Hard in search of a leader ========================================================================= Date: Wed, 12 Jun 1996 08:55:06 -0400 From: "Susan M. Garrett" <susang@v.......> Subject: Ravens at War A number of people have been contacting me about coordinating the Ravens and Ravenettes during the upcoming conflict. I will be happy to coordinate the Raven loop during the next war under two conditions-- 1) That no one else really, really, absolutely needs to do it. 2) That it be unerstood that I may have to resign from play in a hurry. But that If I do Iwill try to give everyone PLENTY of notice. It may not happen, bt as long as there's an outside chance, I don't want to snow anyone. So if you want to play as a Raven/Ravenette and/or you have any questions, concerns or comments, please email me at susang@vitin.com. Warning! The question posed immediately below contains vague spoilers from Fever through Last Knight. Anything seems to go within the Wars but i thought i should ask, just in case. Will there be any restrictions against using probably/maybe dead characters? i suppose that it depends on the faction, whether they want to revive their character, how they want them back, etc (as in Schanke, War 5)? How far may the writers go; what is off-limits? For example - it's fairly clear that Divia is dead (unless AtoA was the LC dream episode, or unless Nick secretly switched LC's ordinary daughter with Folger's Crystals, or unless it was Divia's good twin who made a third season appearance - modern-day Toronto... Div's Patty Duke years) but may a furious retrieval of all her ashes, a nice soaking in amino acids (she's not freeze-dried but almost as good) and some hoodo-mumbo-vampiric-folklore-jumbo bring her back? We can't play around with our own selves and physiology but, seeing as how screwy the FK universe can be, would a vampire's rising - not simply in spirit - be completely out of line? i'm not trying to make the Wars any more confusing than they already are, i'm just wondering :) [Name removed by request] The never-ending string of scarves, courtesy of Gavin's crotch. First Weird (has to be, she's a Cousin) Cousin Tippi said in regards to Nick as Benny Hill: >Thank wickedness I'm a Cousin. This would simply be too devastating were I >a Knightie. ;) In your wildest dreams dear. Of course, it could be worse, how about LaCroix as Monty Python? (falls on floor laughing) >Wicked Cousin Tippi, Dollar Bill Wrangler of the Thong Throng! >*Voyeur of the Menage LaCroix*Founding Member: Unnamed Faction* Then Barbara put in, in response to Tippi: >Nick = Benny Hill--sick truely sick. What mind-altering substances have >you consumed> She's a Cousin, what else do you expect? Originality? >:-P I can't *wait* for the WAR! >Agog, >Barbara Lt. Amy D. z_dentonam@t....... The best way to access the site is to go into the main site and choose fiction from the option list. The address has changed. I had no trouble getting in but I did have some trouble with the downloading process. AMen to that. No, no, no, no---I can't see it at all, I don't think it would work at all. Have you seen "Highlander's" cartoon? No, I'd rather see FK never come back than see it abused as a cartoon....besides, they don't make a color blue that would even get close to Nick's eyes........(sigh) Dotti R Knightie 4-Ever Defender of the Knight dottir@w....... ========================================================================= Date: Wed, 12 Jun 1996 18:59:00 -0400 From: dotti rhodes <dottir@w.......> Subject: Re: The Agreement At 11:30 PM 6/10/96 -0700, you wrote: >I have always assumed that this "agreement" dated to LC's reappearance in >KI, at the beginning of the second season. Otherwise, there would be no reason for LaCroix not to continue to screw up Nick's life after FI. SO, I took it as one of those off-screen things when Nick mentioned it.
