I'm looking for suggestions as to what would be a >good one to use. Help anyone? Well, I cooked that chocolate pizza on Sunday night, but I didn't have mascarpone cheese, so I used ricotta instead (ricotta is somewhat easier to get than mascarpone). However, as I am of the understanding that ricotta is not as sweet than mascarpone, I bought sweet milk chocolate instead of bittersweet. Also, instead of nuts, I used "chopped up" raspberries (yummy). Finally, instead of merely putting the cheese on the pizza, then topping with the chocolate, raspberries, and bananas, I decided to *mix* the cheese, chocolate, raspberries and bananas together _before_ putting them on the pizza. All in all, the pizza was great, although _much_ bigger than the picture in the TV Guide! Many thanks to my extra special dinner guest / taste tester (you know who you are! :-) I couldn't/wouldn't have done it without you!) for putting up with my eccentric cooking conversation, my frequent and somewhat shocking yelps of pain whenever I managed to ever-so-slightly slice my thumb on the "chocolate" grater, not to mention the fact that it took me forever to make the darned thing! :-) Cheers, Cousin Will, definitely showing his FoDly tendencies... It's been many moons since I last showed my beak on this list... many commitments have occupied my time elsewhere... yet I still watched FK as I have since the show first aired. I'm afraid this last season is to "Forever Knight" what *Highlander 2* was to *Highlander* ("There should only have been *one*.") In the case of FK, the producers messed with the chemistry that had worked among the characters in the previous seasons, going so far as to kill off major characters one after another. Now, with the apparent deaths of the two remaining major characters of Nick and Natalie (though Lacroix remains, quite true), it seems the FK production staff has nailed the final stake deep into the heart of the show, in essense saying, "Let's see them resurrect it *this* time." On the subject of the still UnDead and kickin' Lacroix... well, I can't see a spin-off show featuring just this one character, can you? Besides which I don't think many of us could have stood one more episode staring at the that terrible, thick eye makeup on Nigel Bennett. Tammy Faye was beginning to get some stiff competition. I could say more, things about the deaths of Schanke and Janette, too, but why bother? Either this last season was a Bobby Euwing-Dallas dream, or the FK staff suddenly stopped caring about the show. HOWEVER, one can be fit and trim without perfection. You all seem to endow this concept of polar extremes: either one is Pamela Anderson, or one is Rosanne Barr. Neither is true. The average woman in America is 5'4 inches and 144 pounds. I happen to be 25 pounds lighter than the average woman, but that does not exempt me from suffering inperfections. I have a fat butt and fat thighs. I would like to see a fit, trim, flawed woman play Natalie. Excuse me, but you can't expect not to have a backlash after a statement like that unless you happen to be privy to Ms. Disher's dietary habits, weight and training schedule. The second season episodes are listed in filmed order, not aired order, and the air date information isn't there with a lot of the episode descriptions for second season. One of the biggest differences between the filmed order and the aired order is that Crazy Love was filmed around the middle of the second season, but aired where I live at the end of the season. Folden, a demented victorian // lost in the DARK SHADOWS of an endless // FOREVER KNIGHT... ========================================================================= Date: Tue, 28 May 1996 10:25:00 -0700 From: Wendy Marie Christensen <wendy@i.......> Subject: Re: a Comment on Weight Tanya, > Catherine Disher is fat. Period. First of all how in the world can you make this sweeping statement??? Fat and thin is a oppion You may think she is fat but others may think she looks healthy. Or normal. > Neither is true. The average woman in America is 5'4 inches and > 144 pounds. and a size 14. which size do stories by more of? 14 & 12 which one is gone the quickest 14. a size 14 is by no means fat. A woman may simply have hips (heaven forbid) > I would like to see a fit, trim, flawed woman play Natalie. One > that represents the self-discipline to attain a level of athleticness, > but also who isn't a manifestation of cosmetic surgery and silicone > implants. A natural woman. Why? Nat spends all her time in a dark room with dead people. She dosen't get out alot. This is her character. who she is. IMO Nat dosen't seen like the type to spend hours working to get a fit, trim body. It is nice to see someone who is not a size 2 on TV. contrary to popular TV Everyone is not. and it is not healthy. Someone can be meaty looking and be wonderfully healthy. They just may have a big bone structure or big hips or where the wrong cloths that make them look alot bigger than they realy are (IMO this is alot of what makes CD look bigger than she is kill those wardrobe folks) I like CD playing Nat and think she is perfect for it. If Nat was a little thin looking tracey I don't think i would like her as much. This is just what I think..... -Wendy Marie- \|/ Unnamed Faction*Cousin |o o| "We *are* each other. There is a difference between being critical as in critiquing, and critical as in blasting. Let's work on the former and try to avoid the later.
