W.D. --------------- Yes, but there was no ongoing storyline at all in FK except for Nick's quest for mortality. Why would there be any reference to other vampires who weren't integral to the story? As far as LaCroix's children there were Alexandra, Francesca, Dr Alex Hunter, young Daniel (was that the 12-year-old vampire's name?), Don Thomas Constantine, and several others, I'm sure. Some of them must have survived. Mona ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 13 Jun 2008 19:54:12 -0400 From: Lyn Palmer <wizkid2u@b.......> Subject: Re: The loft How much are these going for? Couple that with the fact that when we got to the Marriott, our room number was.....(drum roll, please).....You guessed it: 1228. Sadly, the bottled water in the room was Fiji, not LaCroix, so it wasn't a COMPLETE slam-dunk... I found myself eyeing the shadows carefully whenever we went down into the subway. No ratsies, so Screed was doing his job. LP ================================== To have a right to do a thing is not at all the same as to be right in doing it. -- G. K. My original question was *why* was Nick the "favorite" to LC (not questioning the story line and that Nick is the main character)? What was the motivation for LC to stick around with Nick, especially after Nick tries to seriously kill him in S1? ----- Original Message ---- From: Ramona Jackson <lexyladyjax@g.......> To: FORKNI-L@l....... You know, when you keep putting money into that car even tho you know it will never do right by you in the hopes that if you just spend that next $100, this time it will finally be right.
