Hi, just for the heck of it I sent an email to CBC regarding "The Border". This is the response I received today. I guess those of us in the US are just going to have to "suck up" to our friends in the north.... A question to those of you who are much more internet savvy than I, if the blocking is based on IP addresses is there any way (that is legal of course!) to get around this? Lori *************************************************************************** Dear Lori, Thank you for your email. Unfortunately the CBC does not hold international internet broadcast rights for the online sports or drama shows. We can broadcast all our news and current affairs shows online, but broadcasts of hockey, skating, curling or dramas like The Border have to be geo-fenced or blocked (through your IP address) for everyone living outside the country. We appreciate your taking the time to write to us.
