I remember reading the stories.  It's a trilogy, but I too do not remember
the names or author.  I do remember it was written by a male.  That should
narrow it down a bit. One of the tales has Nat being brought over by LaCroix.
It was her choice.  One of the stories, an add on, was called "the terrible twos"

Wow, I remember being one of the people who had those tri-fold brochures
printed and shipped!  It was one of the first things I did after joining the
fandom.  That was nearly ten years ago, wasn't it?  Man-o-man.

A lightbulb just went on.  The stories are by Cousin Jules, who may be
female, I dont know.  Anyway the first one is called Unforseen occurences.  Its
on Mel's fanfic site.
There are sequels listed.  Judy

Subject: It truly amazes me

That this community is so very active. People who have
been here for a decade or longer, some of us that have
only been here for a short(er) time (like me).

The impact this show has had on so many lives ASTOUNDS
me. I am getting ready to fly across the country to
spend time with one of the other writers I met on this
list for my Labor Day weekend, and it seems entirely
natural to me to be doing so.

I just want to say that I wish that there were some
execs or other "TPTB" with influence at Sony in this
community to SEE how this show has affected us, and
continues to do so.

I'm looking forone I read a while ago where Nick takes care of Nat because
she's not talking or even responding to anyone but no one knows why until
she comes out of it and tells Nick. She stays at the loft and Nick makes her
food and stays with her trying to help her recover. Does anyone remember the
name?
