I just finished re-reading my Harry Potter books in prepration for
Book 6 tomorrow.
Anyhoo, at the end of Book five a conversation between Harry and
Dumbledore made me think so much of Nick (any maybe Natalie).

It goes like so...
Dumbledore says "Harry, suffering like this proves you are still a
man!  This pain is part of being human - "

Then Harry yells back "THEN-I-DON'T-WANT-TO-BE-HUMAN!!!!"

I don't know. It just hit me as a discussion they might have had,
maybe when Schanke died or something.  Nick seems to glorify
humanity, forgetting that the pain and the hurt will still be there.

Yes, that will be Ben in the last two eps of QAF playing "the love of Ted's
life."  And his name will be Tad (no lie).  There is one saving grace: I don't
believe his last name is "Pole."
