I have regularly paid 70-80 for "cult-type" series
that contain only 13 or 14 episodes. It seems like
the cable networks (USA, HBO, SciFI) only consider 13
episodes a "season". When did that happen. Well I
buy a lot of DVD sets used and still pay $40 to $60
per set. I think this pricing is pretty much the norm.
I would be surprised if they hold the price to $79
given that there are 4 more episodes in the 2nd
season.

One of my personal favorite episodes from season two
is Killer Instinct, Nick in Jail -- a fanfic writers
fantasy come true.

though...

1. Fever
2. A More Permanent Hell
3. Be My Valentine
4. Father's Day
5. Ashes to Ashes
6. Sons of Belial
7. Night in Question
8. Curiouser & Curiouser
9. Partners of the Month

This past week, I spent a wonderful evening at 'The Raven'. Did you ever
wonder what happened to Janette after she left Toronto? Well, I found her,
she's bartending in Virginia Beach at 'The Raven'. I'm not kidding! Hey,
who would look for vampires near a beach? Certainly, not vampire hunters.

Last year we found this bar/restaurant, and our server was Janette. This
year, we revisited the popular nightspot, and Janette is now bartending. I
bought a few souvenirs, and had a wonderful evening eating and
drinking--yes, we were drinking blood-wine!

Yes, and according to her bio, she started reporting in 1995, right
around the time FK ended. Maybe, she was doing that during the day
and when she got promoted at the news station, she faked her death,
and went to news full time. <g>

It's a popular tourist spot for FORKNI-L listfolk... every time theres a
convo of fans in that area, it seems, there's a pilgrimage there... even if
just to spend money in the gift shop. (Which reminds me to archive out the
way-too-big-now-even-for-nighties 4X t-shirts I bought there a few years
ago... I'm now wearing YOUTH Medium... which says something unrepeatable
about the garment industry...)

Does anyone know where I can contact Karen Gunther? I just finished
reading her story and I wanted to tell her how much I liked it, but
the story has no contact info.
Please let me know off list.

Hmmm,
Looks like the crew needs help.
Pity the poor darlings, I do.
