I'm sad to hear of this. Judy has been around and writing fanfic ever since
I came to be here. Even in my brief encounters with her I found her a warm
and kind woman who loved her FK. All my best wishes to her close friends and
family.

I'm also sad to hear this news, too, and I'm shedding a few tears as I type
this.

Judy and I were constant chatters on AOL ever since I first signed up for AOL
and ForKni-L back in 1997, and she was one of the first of the ''Demented
Forever Knight Sisters" during those glorious Monday night FK chats on AOL.

Judy and I would often share fanfic ideas, and we'd talk about collaborating
on an FK fanfic. I was pleased to post a couple of fanfics for her when her
internet connection was acting goofy, and before she became ill last year, we
had started work on an FK fanfic. We also shared a love of the original "Nick
Knight", Rick Springfield, and we'd chat on AOL IM's for hours about FK, Rick,
music and fanfiction writing, among so many other things.

The last time we spoke online was back in mid January... I knew she hadn't
been doing too well because the chemotherapy regimen she was on had taken a lot
out of her, and there were other complications which had set in, but she was
always cheery and positive, and we talked about meeting up one day aftter she
was pronounced cancer-free.

She was the sweetest, funniest person around... and it was a pleasure to
have known her.

May her family know God's loving compassion at this tough time...
Stephie

Actually, 18-24 inches of IV tubing will only hold a little over a tablespoon
of 'red stuff'-- not enough to justify the time and effort of getting it out.
Although I can see someone stopping by after hours for a 'snack'. Kind of like
a pixie stix, I'd imagine.

>"Does the year 1228 have any significance to you?", just to see if she is an
FK fan herself.

That's a clever way to do it; I'm always kind of at a loss on how to bring up
the topic.

I know. When I first started to read FK FanFic, her stories captured my
fullest attention. Judy was and is one of my favorite authors. I will miss
her terribly. I will pray for her and her family.

posting the birthdays, I'm sure the many good wishes
Judy must have received gave her mother some happiness

to know how many people thought well of Judy.

With my almost non-existant knowledge of German, I
think Judy's last name means somthing like "Valley of
Joys". I hope that's where she is.

As some of you noticed my birthday was a couple of weeks ago. I had dinner
with some of my friends... and a couple of them chipped in and got me the
DVDs for a present!!!

It's possible that someone has both danaknight and the FK list in their
address book and THEY have a virus. It's been circulating on another mail
list I'm on.... my firewall and virus program has caught a TON of them over
the past couple of weeks.

If I didn't know better, I'd be afraid it was me! LOL

No, someone who has her email address in their address book has the
virus.

danaknight@a....... was Judy Freudenthal's account.

I haven't been able to be online much for the last week, so I was just going
through my emails this morning. I was shocked and terribly saddened to hear of
Judy Freudenthal's death. I was not even aware that she was ill, and we 'spoke'
often by way of AOL IM and personal emails. I feel as if I've lost a member of
my own family.
We would often toss fanfic ideas back and forth, as well as sharing a great
deal of our personal lives with one another. She was a wonderful writer, full of
great advice, and a very good friend. I, too, will keep her friends and family
in my prayers.
 Judy will be sorely missed.

I met Judy a couple of times, several years ago: once, at a dinner in NYC
we had for one of the EFNET #foreverknight regulars visiting from England,
and IIRC, again at Gerthering III. I knew her more, though, from her epic
fanfics that took Natalie through some of the (emotionally) darkest places
imaginable. Sometimes the wording was more abrupt than I'd've liked, and
sometimes it seemed pushing an issue, but they were always issues that
needed addressing -- and they were always addressed with class.

Mmm. Cancer is such a rough disease, and while it's hard to have someone
taken from us so young, we can only hope that she's in a place where she
won't be limited by pain, suffering, and other physical limitations.

Pax.

I offered to mail Susan Freudenthal printouts of messages about Judy, and
she accepted.
Susan wrote "I am trying as best I can, using Judy's computer, to notify
her online friends and also to capture the messages they send. However, the
AOL account will soon be terminated, and I am really not too good at this
sort of thing, anyway."
I think I have everything that has been posted to NNPack and Forkni.
If you would like to send me a message for Susan privately in addition to
(or instead of) posting to the lists, please send it to me at:
combsmfk@e.......
There is no deadline for this. I'll continue to mail things to Susan as
long as I receive them.

I've been seeing commercials for Stargate Atlantis

On the commercials it looks like they have vampires
(I know - I thought vampires in Atlantis was weird too)

Then I thought, how did they even get there?

My first thought was, Did LC or Divia visit long ago and "Make" some friends?

but neither is THAT old

Maybe it's some of the ancients?
like the one that brought divia over

I don't know if any vampires could handle being underwater

but living on the ocean floor, you wouldn't have to worry about sunlight

More thoughts to roll around in your head : )
