Took me a while to find it, so I thought I'd point out - it's second
from the left. But *so* cool! Great catch Portia!

Subject: FK moments & a YKYAFKFW...

Hey all! Just wanted to share these events:
1) While sitting at the computer the other day, i heard in the background a
news story on the topic of flossing. The story told that if one flosses
daily, one can have a longer life. I immediately thought it gave new meaning to
Nick's "Immortality is no excuse not to floss."
2) I helped out at a concert Thursday for WorldVision, a group that gives
aid and God's love to children through child sponsorships. I spoke to a WV rep
awhile, and said that one of the actors from my fav. show (FK of course)
sponsors a few kids through WV. When he asked who, without skipping a beat, I
said
" Javi.....(er Vachon) (insert bright red face and VERY silly grin here)." I
corrected myself and said "Ben Bass, that's what I meant to say! Really!" He
didn't know of Mr. Bass, though. :( Sidebar: I got this info from the FAQ
section on Mr. Bass' fanclub site
3) While giving my bimonthly pint o'the red stuff yesterday, I noticed that
while they put a bit of it into several bags, they threw a few about 18-24
inch IV tubes full of it away, two per donation if memory serves me right. They
clearly weren't intending to save them, as they weren't marked with the donor
numbers or anything. I thought to myself, LaCroix would have a fit if he saw
this sort of thing!!! Hindsight being 20/20, maybe they just were saving a
bit for a few vamps!

Also, the promised YKYAFKFW...
You know you're an FK fan when you ask a complete stranger (despite how shy
you are), who just was talking about the Van Helsing movie and had a Stoker
novel in her hand, "Does the year 1228 have any significance to you?", just to
see if she is an FK fan herself.

Hope you enjoyed these! Comment if it tickles your fancy. Have a great day!
AgapePhileos,
Dory.

Subject: Greg Kramer news

Greg "Screed" Kramer is having surgery next week to remove a lung tumor. (To
answer the question before it is asked, yes, he is a smoker). We already have
a package of goodies on its way, but if other fans would like to send him well
wishes and cards, e-mail Bonnie at callalily@lmi.net for information. You
can e-mail either Bonnie or myself (Libratsie@a.......) if you'd like to send an
e-mail message to him. We'll forward them. Of course prayers, thoughts, and
good vibes are very much welcomed.

Subject: death in the family

I found out today the Judy Freundenthal died on May 2nd. Her mother e-mailed
me
replying to birthday greetings. I have no detail. All her mother said was
that she
passed away among her family and friends. It is a great shock, especially
coming after Marci. Judy was a prolific and wonderful author. I met her a
few times at
a minicon and at Wolfville. She wll be missed. Judy Lieberman
