Isn't Schanke Polish or part Polish? I thought I
remembered hearing something about that but have no
idea where or what it was.

I went to NYC with my mom today and she remarked that today was such
a beautiful day and too bad it was the last day of summer. I said
'Oh, yeah, it's the 21st'
Then I thought to myself... "WOW!!! It is exactly one month until FK
comes out on DVD!!"

In For I Have Sinned, Schanke says, "I'm Polish/Italian, Father. You can't
get much more Catholic than that"

he was Polish-Italian,when he was in

I believe he says in the Confessional scene that he's
Polish/Italian---"You can't get much more Catholic than that!"

My cheesy rationalization of the German name, then, is that his
ancestors came from the Gdansk region---the area that was known as
"Danzig" and administered by Germany before and during WWII, so there
was a German great-grandfather in there somehow.

Hey, works for me!

I too saw a bunch of FK Moments in that movie. First, of course was
the Lucien (the pronunciation wasn't consistant but some put the
french spin on it)
Also at one point Selene is telling someone "Not before you". Those
were the exact words LC used when Nick told him to 'go to hell' in
DK.
I know there were more, but I couldn't remember them when I got home.

Subject: videos and stuff

Since we lost sites to some videos and stories I have been putting the
files on the fkvoyage site. Between Eve's videos and other videos,
outtakes, etc. I have uploaded all the videos I have.

The link to the directories are http://www.fkvoyage.com/fkvideos/

In that directory is a directory 'eve' where Eve's videos are and a
directory 'outtakes' where the rest of them are.

See what you think is missing and let me know. Eve said she would try
mailing me what I don't have or at least figure someway of getting them
to me so I can put them on the site.

And again the www.fkfanfic2.com stories are at

http://www.fkvoyage.com/fkfanfic2/

My fkvoyage site has been traditionally just a site used as a repository
of pictures etc so I have never really made a decent page of links. To
make it easier I am going to put links on the page with a description of
what they are.

I will keep them there until the other sites get back up.

Inspired by the Caddy's seafoam green paintjob, she is christened
"CadZilla" by the Monster Garage design team.
To secure usage of the name from ZZ-Top, her custom stero system
must play only the Recycler album while she is under power.
        20" custom wheels.
Air-Lift suspension set to "into the weeds" mode
        Hood cut-out for a 6-71 blower.
The blower is modified with "nostrils" under it that breath fire
from butane-torch bottles when the throttle is flattened.
A pushbutton in the dash opens the trunk remotely and a big
hydraulic car-crushing hammer decends to pound the car tailgating you
into miscellaneous tinfoil.
Oh, an a custom licenseplate that reads "I 8 Tokyo".

Hi Allison,
As a matter of fact I just came across Schanke's lineage. I the episode
where he "confesses" to Nick in the church he says that he is
"Polish/Italian and you can't get any more Catholic than that". As to his
penchant for sluvaki John is of Greek heritage and <he> likes them,so the
writers ran with it.Hope that answers your question.
