Well, somehow the 1st just came & went before I knew it.... but
I didn't find that we missed anything these first 2 days.
As always, please check your local listings for exact dates & times,
I have been known to make typos (and so have the sources I've pulled
from). And, sometimes there are differences of 1 day for a listing,
if the showing is a late nite one... 11pm Pacific Tuesday nite equals
2am Eastern Wednesday.....

Are there any Canadian listsibs out there who'd be
willing to tape that or copy it for me? I'll pay
postage and tape cost if necessary. Mail me offlist to
discuss it. Thanks in advance.
I think that sometimes we get the short end of things
down here by either not getting the Canadian shows or
having to wait forever before they air down here.
There's a BBC America, I wonder if they'll ever get a
CBC America started.

Whoever posted the article about using blood in wine, would you please send it
to me. I trashed it, then a friend said she wanted a copy and I figured I'd
just fish it out of the trash can, but it was already empty! Much thanks!
To keep this on topic: I made the mistake of going to e-bay and typing in
'forever knight' Now there's a WHOLE LOT of things I want but can't afford!
Though I'll admit, I succumbed the temptation to bid on a promotional ad with
the phrase 'Meet Detective Nick Knight. When the sun goes down, so does the
crime rate.' I couldn't resist! <G>

As for the rest don't forget that Canadian content took a huge cut
in the last Federal Budget . the net result being that even
popular programs such as Red Green will be effectively dead in the
water unless TPTB relent and decide to put the money back. One
minister wants to. the other doesn't according to what I read in the paper
today. The good news is they are considering it.

Ok, it's 3:30 AM, so bear with me. I have three questions for all of you.
1. Does anyone remember the fic written a couple of years ago called "Crazy
For You"? I've looked everywhere for it. It was a T&V story, I think. It was
wrote sometime in 99. Can someone tell me where it is, or who wrote it?
2. Can I start going by Cousin Robin? Just thought I'd be polite and ask in
case someone else was using the name first.
3. What is your fantasy outing with anyone from the FK universe (male or
female).
Mine would be Lacroix (of course) somewhere in Italy. Sorry, that's all I can
come up with right now.
Well, guess it's off to bed.

tape I would love a copy. Also I've been looking for the eps of
'Once a Thief' that have been discussed on the list.

Ooh, in a fantasy story this would be significant, especially with all the
threes. Ask on.

Hey, I'm a listowner and I don't remember another Cousin Robin, so I'd say
go for it. Over the years when we have had a name conflict, it's been
settled amicably AFAIK.

Dear Cousin Robin,
Great idea!
Fantasy outing? Oooh. Let's see--
Going to Tim Horton's with Schanke? Or being a last-minute substitute
with his team in the Detectives' Bowling League?
Riding in the Caddy with Nick on a warm summer night on the 401 out of
Toronto, to someplace where you might actually see stars? Hmm, might
need a chaperone for that one...
Going for a midnight coffee break to BuckStars with Nat and Tracy, and
driving them crazy by talking about how weird my husband is? And how I
really love him because of it?
Taking in a Maple Leafs game with LaCroix and Reese? (Oh, the
violence!!)
That's all I can think of for now.

Not really a comment on that part, but since McLisa
was talking about name disputes...Not sure if I've
mentioned it before, but if the other Mel, the one who
runs the archives, ever does come back, I'll just
switch to Mel M. Does anyone know what happened to
her? Too bad the archive isn't updated any more.(Did I
ask this already? Forgive me if I did.)
>

My first thought is Nick, but I'm not sure what I'd
fantasize about doing. Except that I'd make sure he
took me flying before it was over :) I love flying.
Maybe it's just my nagging muses, but I sort of think
a dinner at that Midieval(sp?) Times place might be
nice...or maybe just a moonlight stroll on the beach
or something...And I'd definately like to visit his
loft. And go for a ride in the Caddy. Definately like
that car.
Call me wierd, but I also think it might be
fascinating to spend some time watching Nat work...at
least if you have a strong stomach, that is. LOL I
don't get sick too easily but who knows. I just like
learning how crimes are solved with that kinda
stuff...probably comes from my mom liking shows like
'New Detectives' and 'Medical Detectives' (Which I've
come to like too) and my watching them 'cause I didn't
have much else to do at the time. It's interesting
stuff to watch.
Mel, who's wondering if that one doesn't make her just
plain *wierd*.

I can come up with right now. Oddly enough, the topic of Italy and vampires came
up in a conversation I had with my brother earlier today. His question: what
would they do when the wind shifts and the garlic from the food stands comes
their way? <G> Hmmmm... I'm kind of a debator myself, so I think it would be
fun just to spend some time debating and playing chess with LaCroix. Yeah, I'd
lose, but that's not the point! Flying at some point (I REALLY don't care who)
would definatly be on the agenda. I actually agree with Mel in that watching
Natalie (and the rest of them) work on a case would be facinating. Police stuff
interests me. Mostly, I'd want to sit down with each of the vampires and have
them tell me EVERYTHING about the culture they grew up in! Or better yet, a
sightseeing tour of all the places they've lived and what happened there and
what were the people like and how did they spend their time and science and
politics and religion and everything! Since Katie (my friend) is hanging over
my shoulder, I'll put her answer here, too.
She'd love to get turned loose in the Raven or CERK or something. Her favorite
pasttime is making harmless mischief and then watching what happens. (And she's
very good at it, too. If you don't already know she does these things, you'll
never know it's her.) She says it's fun because people go nuts over the tiniest
frustrations, because they are too uptight and controling. She thinks playing
pranks on the vampires (espeicailly LaCroix) would be a hoot. I tell her she's
out of her mind. She agrees. -Megan & Katie
