They're both Vachon, in Trophy Girl. For the first quote, he just flew into
Nick's car and the second time he was whammying Tracy's 'date'.

I was scanning the tv guide to see what was on tonight and saw "True

Gee, are they going to have a story about a pipe bomb victim who
gets up off the table?

Hey everyone! Wanted to let you all know about my brand new Lisa site. It's
the Lisa Ryder Video Archive (http://www.lisacaps.com/), sister site to my
Lisa Ryder Video Archive (http://www.lisacaps.com/).

So far, the only video clips up are from Jason X (FX's interview promo),
GenCon 2002 (see Lisa talk about Andromeda, mainly), music videos (10 of
'em!), as well as Lisa's appearances on Earth: Final Conflict (both
"Decision" and "Truth"). If you've never seen Lisa on E:FC, now you can see
and download all of her scenes. More videos will be going up eventually,
including Newsroom, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Psi Factor: Chronicles of
the Paranormal, and Forever Knight.

So, go... watch... enjoy!

Okay the first quote isn't Vachon, I don't believe. I really am more
inclined to believe it's Screed. But it could possibly be Vachon and I just
can't remember correctly. As for the second one, it is definitely Vachon!
This particular quote is from Trophy Girl.

It's Vachon in Trophy Girl. He says it to the guy Tracy's trying to

I find it interesting, although I think very little of it is original or
innovative. I know there's really no such thing as a NEW idea in
television, but when watching Tracker I often think they're borrowing
liberally from Forever Knight. The character of "Mel" in Tracker, in
particular, seems to me like a somewhat shabby knock-off of Natalie in
FK--always covering for the "non-human" character (and having to risk her
job and tell some whopper lies to do so), saving his tushy every time he
gets in hot water, and on occasion getting her tushy saved in return (which
of course requires the use of superhuman alien powers on his part...) I
wonder sometimes if they borrowed plot elements from FK knowing that
Geraint would draw "that sort" of audience.

The coolest part to me is getting to see Geraint play the villian. He's
really good with the subtle cues to his "superhuman" abilities; for
example, he once slams a car door with an almost imperceptible
follow-through with his hand that *shows* without his having to say it how
"strong" he really is and how easy it is for him to manipulate mere
earthling objects. It's almost like watching Nick Knight channel LaCroix,
which is pretty high on amusement value in and of itself. It's just a shame
that the villian doesn't spend as much time running around in his skivvies
as the hero. ;-)

Now, if they could just come up with an alien Screed--particularly if he
brought along super-alien rats--they might have a show well worth watching.

There's one ep, The Miracle, that has a lot of FK
reminisces. Zin's fake name is Mr. Ravens. The
priest's first name is Nicholas. When Zin dissappears
both from the home of Jamie, the girl taken over by
the Cirronian Lontoria, and from the church, he's
there one second and gone the next, just like Nick.
Inside the church, he tries to drive a stake through
Cole's heart after wounding him and when Lontoria
points a rifle at him, I always expect to see fangs
and glowing eyes.

There's also a part earlier in the ep that always
makes me think of LC.....he's telling Lontoria she
owes him and she's in his debt.(in this case, because
he freed her) Hm.....maybe Zin is a Cousin? <runs for
cover> sorry, couldn't resist. But they would get
along well, wouldn't they?

Hasta la bye bye

Ok, guys. Listen up. The rules went out yesterday. I even sent the list a
warning about this last week.

On Forkni-l we have a strict quote limit. 4 lines from the previous post. If you
have a second point to answer, then you can quote a second four lines.

But you _CANNOT_ quote the entire previous post.

The rule exits because we have limited disk space at PSU. Full quotes take up
space on it while it holds posts for the digest. If over quoting jams the disk,
the sysop has to unjam it. If we annoy the sysop we may lose our list. Second,
people on digest do not need to page past repeats just because some people won't
observe the rules.

The next person who ignores the quote rule goes on review. That means that his
or her posts will go to Don for verification that they follow the quote rule.

On a personal note, I don't need any more stress or ingratitude. Yes,
ingratitude. I take time out from my job and my small amount of free time to
keep this list operating as smoothly as possible. That's why the rules have
developed over the years, not always by me. If some of you can't be bothered to
follow them, then I don't see why I should go on with this. One more bout of
serious violations and I'm outta here.

I had the reverse relation, initially.
I saw the initial Nick Knight when it came out (still have the VHS
for one one in my collection).
When FK started, I watched the first couple of episodes going "who

It wasn't until years later that I caught a FK marathon on Sci-Fi

About the only thing I would change in FK as a result of Nick Knight
nowadays is where he lives. I do think the old movie-theater was

But only on consecutive Tuesdays when followed by a memorandum {printed in
triplicate} outlining the proposed non-action, supplemented by a board
meeting to confirm that such non-action was in fact replaced by an alternative
transaction which did not take place, instead. {This requires a $25.00 non-
transaction fee.}

At this point, one may then petition for a temporary license to bite {TLTB}.
Please note that a separate license to drink blood {LDB} is required, and
must be obtained from the Vampirism Bureau on the third floor. After both
licenses have been obtained, any individual may enroll in Vampire Education
classes** for the required minimum 32 hours of direct instruction.
**for-credit classes only; no continuing ed!

Providing the individual completes said 32 hours of direct instruction, and
passes the eye exam and vampire certification test {including behind-the-neck
practicals}, said individual will become eligible for his Vampire's License,
which must be renewed after four (4) years. {According to FK canon, taking a
photograph for the license isn't a problem.}
