Subject: FK moments

HI-
I've had a couple of FK moments this week.
First, I have been listening to the demo album of a new Broadway musical -
"Dance of the Vampires". It opens this November starring Michael Crawford
(aka the Phantom of the Opera) The music and lyrics are by Jim Steinman who
wrote the songs from Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell 2 CD. Anyhoo.... there is
this song called "Confessions of a Vampire" that makes me think of Nick.
Here's a sample:
"The first time I ever drew blood
She was such a beautiful and innocent child
She never knew my sould was cursed for good
I fought to overcome my thirst, I thought I could
But when I kissed her lips, then I had no control
And the furies all ran wild."
These lines make me think of Nick and Alyssa on their wedding night and also
of Nick and Nat in LK.
If you want to hear the whole song and see the lyrics check out my site

at http://www.danceofthevampires.com
My other moment was the other day at Barnes and Noble. I was just looking
around and I found a book in the new paperback section called "The Science
of Vampires" by Katherine Ramsland Phd. It looks as what makes a vampire
what it is, how they are made, etc. in a scientific way but also based on
the canon from folklore and subsequent fiction. Very interesting. It does
mention FK, which is a bonus!
Ok, I'm going back to lurkdom now.

I didn't see this question answered yet, so I would
like to do it now: the title of the story is Office
Gossip.

Greetings!

I usually do not announce when I make a new music video, but this one was
particularly interesting and quite different from my others. The new music
video is called "Self Control" and features "The Raven" and all of its
creatures of the night. The lyrics are absolutely perfect and really match
FK. I think this is one of my best videos, so please check it out and let me
know what you think.

Good Knight and Good Bite,

FK moment driving to work.

Saw a customized license plate with the letters "DK PK"

I immediately thought, "Oh, they're a Dark Perk." And I'm not even a
big Tracy fan!

Hey, all...........yes, been lurking (long and devastatingly dull story),

Actually, we were taught to expel the air in case we hit a vein (and yes, one
is supposed to draw back prior to injection to make sure that has not
happened <g>), as a large enough amount of air injected into the vein can
cause an air embolism to the brain and instant death.

It has to be a pretty significant amount of air, though....even in an IV
line, etc.

Either way, don't think a vampire would need to worry! :>D

Yeah, I read about that. Some people can be so dumb at
times, can't they? Sad.
