Oh no! Not the CD/DVD's too! Can't be! I used to see the CD stuff on the
original Star Trek so DVD *must * be the wave of the future. ST wouldn't

I am having lots of fun with Kristin Harris' video on DVD. WAAAAY cool.
Beats the heck out of downloading them all meself. And with such a spiffy
cover.

ALSO thanks for the heads up on ordering the FK music CD's from Crescendo. I
put off ordering them becoz I knew I would not listen to them much But AT
SUCH A GREAT PRICE - and it is FK --- I had to get them. What a bonus,
too. The first CD has lots of great pics, particularly one of Nic with the

Well, I've always seen LaCroix as very cultured - which would fit in with
his background, as a well-bred Roman would pride himself on his interest in
the arts - and as someone who enjoys the best that life, and society, can
offer. So I feel sure he has all the local cultural websites bookmarked -
museums, concert halls, art galleries, etc, and also that he's signed up to
receive their latest updates so he won't miss out on any special events.

And I can definitely see him being part of a *very* select online discussion
group - the kind that isn't listed in the provider's directory, and requires
both approval by the moderator *and* a sponsor to join up. It would, of
course, be a senior vampires' discussion group, with careful worded messages
and coded phrases, especially relating to vampires and the passage of time.

So "Has anyone heard from Plato in the last year or two?" would actually
mean has anyone heard from him in the last two centuries... (Hmmm.... we
could all have fun trying to work out how such a discussion list would talk
about vampire killings, blood supplies, fledglings, the Enforcers, etc! Any
takers?)

On the other hand, maybe he's a secret addict of some dreadful TV show, and
visits every website he can find about UK soap 'Coronation Street', and even
writes bad fanfic about the show. (Sorry - couldn't resist that one, as NB
once played a minor character in the soap!)

Or if it's not 'Corrie', what other baaaad show would he be hooked on? Of
course, he's doubtless grumbling all the time about the lousy acting,
unrealistic plot-lines, cardboard sets and 'Do they *really* pay someone to
write such drivel? I could do better in my sleep! Hmmm.... maybe I could
persuade them that they need a new writer.... <VELaCroixianG>'

Hiya,

Thanks bunches! :) It's actually a *VCD,* but it will play on most DVD
players like a DVD, and of course the computer. *Currently* the Music Video
VCD (feel free to e-mail me for info on how to get one) and whole
downloadable VCD episodes on my site are about the closest you can get to FK
on DVD. Let's hope that changes though. :)

Hope everyone has a good Knight!

Mc Lisa, what part of the country are you in, if you don't mind me asking? They
don't carry that brand around here (or at least I've never noticed it before),
but when my husband returned from a business trip to, I think it was IL, he
brought me back a bottle of LC water which I proudly display in my dining room.

Ok, updated the site: http://www.crosswinds.net/~fkfanfic2 the 0catch site will
be shut down as soon as I can get time to do so, as well as the 50megs site.

Question, and please answer me OFFLIST: would anyone be interested in having a
message board on the fkff2? Anything else I could add to enhance it? I need the
feedback, positive or negative, it's the only way I can have a great FK site!

Thanks all :) And I'm still accepting fics <hint, hint>

Don't mind at all. I'm in Indianapolis and it was available when I lived in
South Carolina. Now I'm curious. Where are you?

Oh, just hanging around the Northeast. Actually, I'm from Brooklyn, NY, but in
two months it will be five years (my how time flies) that I'm living in Jersey.

Wouldn't that be fun. ;)

Okay, they have the water in the stores here (Moscow, Idaho). Thought
it was my imagination at first, but I guess that's been proved wrong.
It wasn't in my 'hometown' in WA the last time I checked. I guess it's
hit and miss.

I don't doubt that LaCroix is a Yankees fan <hisssssss><g>, so he probably
keeps up on their website, and I think he'd belong to Wall Street Sports
(the fantasy site where you buy and sell stocks in players). Beyond that, I
rather fancy that he has a lot of satiric humor sites bookmarked, as he
enjoys the amusement human absurdity affords him.

I've always been under the impression that LaCroix originates
somewhere in the upper midwest, just because it's all over the place
(I grew up in Madison, WI). However, I can't find anything to back
this up, but when I was looking I found a fun graphic on the
corporate homepage:

According to this website the company that manufactures it is based in Fort
Lauderdale.

Eve.

P.S. Next time we do a blitz, someone should include a bottle of this brand
of water. ;)
