Great list, Sunny!

I've often wondered about the lack of snow in "The Code". The episode
seems to have been written for snowy weather: in the teaser, the scene
keeps cutting between Schanke's accident and the last minutes of the girl
who dies of what appears to be a cocaine (snow) overdose. Every time I
watch this, I expect Schanke to say, "Man oh man I hate _snow_!" But
of course he always says "winter". Maybe they were planning on snow
and the weather didn't cooperate?

Have we seen vampires with facial hair? Whenever my dad goes skiing, his
mustash gets covered with little (and not so little) ice drops. Maybe
that's why they don't have mustashes. (or beards.)

Interesting list. I don't agree with all of your facts though.

 >It never snows in FK Toronto. [c]

Yes, it did, in the episode A Fate Worse Than Death. At least I think
that was the episode. It's the ep where Nick is on a roof or something
watching the hooker go to see her pimp. You can see the snow
sparkling behind him and I seem to recall you could see some on
the ground too. Wasn't there snow spitting when Schanke and Nick
are tailing the hooker in the caddy too?

>Although LaCroix hates cow's blood, it doesn't stop him from drinking
>some, and complaining about it, every time he visits the loft. [c]

Did LC drink cow blood in Dark Knight: The Second Chapter or
Night in Question? What about The Games Vampires Play or
Human Factor? I don't remember him drinking cow blood in any
of these eps.

>If the target of a killing is a celebrity, the killer is almost certainly
>her/his manager, assistant, best friend or a family member. [c]

Well, although you did say "almost", I can think of one exception.
The newswoman in Unreality TV was almost done in by enforcers.

>As soon as you see/hear about someone related or close to Natalie, the
>person either is dead, or will soon be. [c]

What about her brother Richard's wife and child? They're still alive.

>When Janette is absent in the present day, Nick doesn't remember her in
>his flashbacks either. [c]

Doesn't Nick remember Janette in Last Knight? Or do you think Nat is
seeing aspects of Nick's life when she is bitten?

>Characters always become suicidal in their last appearance. [c]

I never thought Screed was suicidal in Fever. Divia didn't want to
die either.

>They usually ask their best friend to do it for them. [c]

Neither Screed nor Divia asked anyone to kill them.

Wasn't there snow in ... can't remember the ep. title, but the one where
Janette takes in the hooker, who then turns out to be a murderess? In the
scene where Nick follows the hooker to the guy's apt.?

Subject: INCA Alert TONIGHT, & maybe LC Alert, too on SciFi

Hi!
I have been off the computer for a little while, so my apologies if ya'll
have already been alerted to these FK Alumni Sightings on "Earth: Final
Conflict", which is now on the SciFi Channel twice nightly Monday nights
thru Friday early morning, but in case anyone who's interested does not know
yet...

#1) Damon D'Oliveira who brought to UnLife Javier Vachon's vampire brother,
The INCA, in FK's "Black Buddha" #1 & #2" eps, according to the IMBd page
for him <http://us.imdb.com/Name?D%27Oliveira,+Damon>
has been in 3 first season eps of "E:FC" and one of these eps should be on
the Sci Fi Channel TONIGHT -WEDNESDAY, Aug. 22, at 10:00 PM EST and repeat
at 2:00 AM tomorrow-THURSDAY Aug. 23. He will portray "Sahjit Jinnah" in
episode: "The Scarecrow Returns" (episode # 1.11).
The other 2 eps which should be on soon --so be on the look-out for them!--
are:
"Through the Looking Glass" (episode # 1.19) and "Destruction" (episode #
1.21)

---Now, you may need to look kinda carefully for Mr. D'Oliveira, as I've
seen him in various series -- the very first ep of "The Relic Hunter" as the
man who became the very first Buddha, and he had EXTREMELY short hair, and
was beard-less, but in "Due South", "Total Recall 2070" and maybe another
"Relic Hunter" ep "Dagger of Death"-- some with sorta long hair, some with
facial hair - mustache & goatee;I have NO idea yet what he's going to look
like in tonight's "Earth: Final Conflict" ep, but am happy that I'll get a
chance to see him!

#2) Also, last night's ep: "Live Free or Die" (ep #1.10) had NIGEL BENNETT
and also Maurice Dean Wint ['Frank' in FK season 3 ep "Francesca"] and it
looks like they MAY be in tonight's ep as well, because at SciFi website for
tonight's ep, I saw: GUEST CAST: MAJ. RAY McINTYRE = Nigel Bennett and CAPT.
LUCAS JOHNSON = Maurice Dean Wint, so we may be getting a 'bonus': in
addition to the guy who played The INCA, we may also see 'He Who Looks and
Sounds A LOT Like LaCroix' and another FK guest, Mr. M.D.Wint {who also has
been a semi-recurring character along with Nigel Bennett in several eps in
the "Psi Factor" series which currently airs on TNT at 5:00 PM Momdays thru
Fridays.
At Nigel Bennett's IMBd page <http://us.imdb.com/Name?Bennett,+Nigel> it
shows 2 E:FC eps, as "Major Raymond MacIntire" in episode: "Live Free or
Die" (ep #1.10)[ep on last night-Tues. Aug. 21st] and in episode: "Pandora's
Box" (ep #1.14)
-------------------------------------

Now, it's just recently that I've been regularly watching E:FC, but in case
anyone else out there just started, too, {{{...there's got to be a few
others SOMEWHERE in the FK Universe like me who didn't see much of it
before!!!???}}} in the very beginning, Lisa Ryder {a.k.a. Tracy Vetter,
Perky Cop} played "Kate Boone" the wife of one of the main characters:
"William Boone" (Kevin Kilner), and although she personally does not make it
past ep#1, she was in 'flashback/memories' in some eps, and her picture was
on her 'husband's' desk.
***PLUS, last week, Kristen Lehman {a.k.a. Urs, Javier Vachon's
vampire-daughter} was in an ep as a television reporter,
***And Von Flores is in a regular major character "Ron Sandoval" -- in a
'long haired version' he was in FK season 2 ep "Can't Run, Can't Hide" as
LC's Vietnamese Vampire son, as well as some eps of "Kung Fu: The Legend
Continues" also currently on TNT -Mon thru Fri 4:00 PM EST.
-------------------
BTW, The INCA, as Juan Valdez, Vampire Lawyer, has been in some of the FK
Wars, including most recent WAR #11 assisting his vamp-brother's faction:
the Vaquero/as, as well as various 'INCArnations' in FK FanFic as 'Amaru',
{from Nancy, The True Leader of The INCArnates}, the 'Inca' {Kyer's from War
10}, the 'Inka' {Bonnie's from her Claire series}, and 'Juan Valdez'
{TracySue's from a few WARS, and Juan and Javier get along very well as
vamp-brothers!} ...Oh, and ALL 4 INCAS appeared together in WAR XI at the Ja
Ba, a bar in Toronto [July 16 post
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fkwararchive/message/474>] "War: Vaqs/NA:
Everyone Knows Our Name (2/2)" and some were in [July 17 post-
<http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fkwararchive/message/479> ] "War: NA/UF/VAQS:
"Can You Hear the Rumble? (04/?)"
***And, some of us, particularily some Vaqs with INCArnate Tendencies,
figure that The INCA did NOT meet his 'final death' in BB#2, but that he was
smart enough to throw that bomb away when he got it safely out of range --
BEFORE it exploded!

You can read about tonight's ep at the SciFi page:
<http://www.scifi.com/efc/episodes/0111.html>
01.11 = "The Scarecrow Returns"
The Resistance does battle with an alien probe that may be studying Earth.

Hi, I'm Fran. I'm new to the list but not to FK.

I've got a little story that I've been working on for a while, and I've been
encouraged by a couple of other members to share it with the group.

This is my first time posting to a list like this, so please forgive any
blunders and feel free to correct me if I don't quite get things right at
first.

I know some of you have already read it, so excuse me for cluthering up your
mailboxes.

The chapters are pretty long, so they will be divided up into two or three
sections as needed.

Hope you'll enjoy.

Yes. I was watching a tape I had made of the episode with the former
Vietnam-War "Clean-Up Crew" and noticed that Nick was definitely
showing some facial hair, as if he hadn't shaved for a two or three days.

Of course they won't all apply. What kind of a show would FK be if all of
these were true for all cases (a big piece of cheddar I'd say.) My list
stands for the things that *mostly* occur in the cannon or the fanfic and
is intended purely for fun :)

Cheers

Nice work Cousin Mary, and perfectly matching the present flood of reality
shows. I'm wondering whether Nick joined the cast of the African Outbacks
(Survivor 3) when he was reported missing, I can just see the ads for that
one
*Although our Canadian castaway suffers from a severe case of
hypersensitivity to sunlight and must stay in his custom-made hole in the
ground all day and hence doesn't take part in any of the activities, he is
still not voted off. The others say they want to vote him off every time,
but always just before the trip to the tribal council, he walks around and
has a little talk with each of them, and then they all end up voting for
someone else. * :)
