Not in Toronto. The city is immaculate. Screed put the vermin in a burger
he planned to eat during his break and someone gave it to a customer instead.
That is the only explanation. And it does confirm Screed re-residency in
TO, thank goodness.

I can see LaCroix secretly playing the Dungeon Keeper game during the day. It
would really fit his personality. Kind of fun, actually, as long as you keep
in mind that it is, after all, only a game.

Hmm, now what games do you think Nick would be interested in?
"Crusaders" of Might and Magic? (Heh, heh). Actually, I could see him playing
the Vampire game that was popular last year, because the main character was
also a 13th century crusader.

For anyone interested in writing about LC's mortal past and looking for
atmosphere, the Cleveland Museum of Art is putting in an exhibition called
Antioch, The Lost Ancient City. The exhibit includes an audio tour and they
are also showing an Ancient Roman film festival through the month of April
in connection with the exhibit. The exhibit is running from 3/25/01 --
6/3/01. More information can be found at www.clevelandart.org.

Also with taking 7 years to get back if he did actually go to the Holy Land,
with their trasportation its a good 2, 3 year journey since most knights
stopped along the way to pillage and stuff. Comming home it took even longer
because you had the spoils of war with you and even longer if your wounded.

The FK eps I would show to someone who has never seen the series before, are:

Dark Knight 1 & 2

Cherry Blossoms - good drama, is also a good background ep)

Hunted, also good drama, helps show the relationship between Nick & Schanke and
also why FK vampires have to hide what they are

The Fix, to understand the premise behind the earlier eps, that vampirism was
an addiction - which I think was later changed. Gives good insight into Nick's
motives.

Partners of The Month is a good ep in general and also helps explain the Code

Blood Money, a good Nick background ep

Only the Lonely, explains Nick's feelings for Nat

Queen of Harps, another good Nick background ep

I'm not sure if they ever said on the show. Most fanfic writers (and I fall
into this category) go by 35. I think Ger himself was a bit younger, when the
series was first shown.

I always include Fever when I'm introducing a new fan to the series. I've
brought across more people with that wonderful episode than I can remember.

Others I'd put on my list are:

Be My Valentine (did I get the title right?)
A More Permanent Hell
Ashes to Ashes
Father's Day
Stranger than Fiction (especially for big Anne Rice, PN ELrod, Laurell Hamilton,
and other vampire writing fans)
Curiouser & Curiouser (though not as the first episode)
Blind Faith (I know this isn't a favorite of many, but it would be great for dog
lovers and those likely to really enjoy Screed)
My memory is failing me on titles, but also the last one of the first season,
and first one of the second season when LaCroix returns.
