I'm way behind on mail, but I didn't see it listed on the monthly VCR
alerts that John Kapelos' episode of First Wave, "The Believers" is on
right now on Sci Fi during their First Wave chain reaction.

FORKNI-L RULES

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST
MAY BE PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post in replying.
If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote the
relevant four lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of text,
your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of the six
line limit. If you have one of those services that insists on putting an
advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. We realize you can't
control that and it doesn't count as part of your sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the
person who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, <mclisa@m.......> or Don Fasig,
<Argent@e.......> for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff and
producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in the
past are ok. Vampires in general are _NOT_ ok except in relation to
Forever Knight.

7. Off-topic posts are not allowed, no matter what they are about or how
urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which you
think should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally
one of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other
than that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Con announcements must come from con officials or a designated
liaison and must be kept brief. Cons are only announced on list if there
is a connection to FK.

10. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may
make announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff,
before said projects have been released or written about in the media.

11. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

12. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

It seems to me that Beka Valentine is kinda like a "Dark Perk" Tracy Vetter...

Subject: 'The Sports Pages' & 'Beggars and Choosers'

I watched 'The Sports Pages' earlier on Showtime, and it was choice!
John Kapelos plays one of the main characters throughout the second half,
and they showed a snippet of him being interviewed during the end credits.
Oh, and they gave him hair!!!

And just when I was feeling all warm and fuzzy about a network (shocking but
true), I've read that 'Beggars and Choosers' has been cancelled by SHO. Sure,
it was great to see Ben Bass act a recurring role again (and to see my favorite
Tree, Kevin Durand, play Cliff), but, besides that, it's an entertaining show,
well-written and never, ever vanilla. I mean, the promos for this week's episode
looked suspiciously like it involves Ben's character, singing, and Gabe Kaplan!
You don't get that on NBC!

Well, even if 'B&C' is cancelled, I will at least have the comfort of knowing that,
unlike 'Forever Knight,' it is highly unlikely that all but one of my favorite
characters will be killed off by the end of the last episode of this series.

It is unlikely, right?

Has anyone seen Gabe Kaplan?

Did you guys notice that in one particular episode of FK, second season.
Where Nick was an associate or something of a politician in the past. Lisa
Ryder was the one who commited suicide in there. I think that's interesting,
how she came back for a bigger role and all.

Also, the same girl who played Joan of Arc, was the cop who gave Schanky a
ticket in Close Call...again I just noticed all of this. Still I think it's
cool, yet kinda funny.

I notice that alot in show across the board. The most I ever saw of
recycling actors was Xena. They recycled like crazy, I can't remember any
offhand.

Inspired by the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon and too much dark
interstate unwinding in front of the car last night.

Bekka Valentine (Lisa Ryder's character from Andromeda) has the
same last name as Scott Valentine (the vampire from To Sleep
with A Vampire) who looks like Ben Bass (except that Valentine
looks more like an active serial killer) who stared as Javier Vachon
who had a serious neck thing for Tracy Vetter (Lisa Ryder).

Does anyone know if re-runs of FK are being shown? I have just aquired
Direct TV and am not all that familiar with it yet, and so i have no clue as
to whether or not FK reruns are still being shown.

And if they're not, let me tell you, all hope is not lost to get them back..
One of my other favorite shows, Hercules the Legendary Journies, has just
begun re-runs as of Jan 2nd.

Any info you can help me with would be appreciated....

Also, some of the AOL users are having a real hard time getting their system
to NOT use HTML. AOL likes the ads being passed around.

And it does not LOOK HTML when the person sends it out so I have been told.

Greetings, everyone! :)

With the end of the holidays, "In Another Life" returns, but the weekly
posting schedule will change.

Instead of posting two chapters of the story each week on Tuesdays and
Wednesdays, the story will be posted on Monday and Tuesdays, beginning this
week. I know that this is a change from my usual posting schedule, but I
thought that it would be nice to start off Mondays with a new chapter of "In
Another Life".

I'm delighted with the great response to my story, and I hope that you'll
enjoy the next chapters.

Happy Reading! :-)

Subject: Hi Gang

First off, let me say 'Thank you' to everyone who replied to my last
installment of 'Pipe Dreams'. I'd had it finished for awhile, so I
decided to go ahead and post it.
Also, thanks to all of you that sent me the info I needed on measurement
conversions. It was really a big help!
I have not been on-line much, because my health still isn't up to par.
Last Thursday my husband found me passed out cold on the hallway floor.
He stayed home from work that day and I wasn't very coherent. By Friday
he was concerned enough to stay home and take me to the doctors.
They told him I was dehydrated and that he should just let me rest and
get as many fluids into me as possible. He gave me Gatorade (my least
favorite drink in the world) and let me sleep all day Friday and
Saturday.
By Saturday afternoon, I was improving, only a little, so he took me to
the emergency room. They told us they believe I may have suffered a
minor stroke, probably as an aftereffect of the drugs I took when I tried
to commit suicide. They gave me an IV and ran a zillion tests. Since we
don't have health insurance, I'm cringing at what this will cost us.
They sent me home late Saturday and I continued to sleep. By early last
night, I was feeling a little better. I am still not back to 100%, I am
moving slower and often get tired and/or dizzy.
I do not remember much about Thursday, Friday or Saturday. My husband
has been filling me in on the missing pieces and trying to keep his
sanity.
I am truly grateful for such a wonderful man. Lesser men would have
given up on me a long time ago, but he has stuck it out and been a great
support, even in the worst of times.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and loving words. They truly
mean a lot to me!
