Tall and slim with a fine, rapier physique. And that wonderul polish.
Delightfully flashy.

.....<frowns>

Oh, wait. You mean *LaCroix*.
(Sorry. My mind is still on that sword pin.)

Probably the thing that makes him so amazing is that he is the ultimate
contradiction.....
He's one of the strongest vampires around, and yet he can be remarkably gentle
and kind....
He also doesn't seem so caught up in the power struggles like you would think he
would, he kills, but he does so to survive, he'll choose his prey but he's not
like Divia, who was just evil, he has reasons for picking the people he does.
He is the ultimate predator, but he can also be the consumate gentleman,
cultured, yet savage, tender, yet cruel. He also has insights into the human
condition and is always provoking new thoughts....(I Wish we had something like
the Nightcrawler on the radio! *g*) The fact that he is such an enigma and
always unpredictable, I admire Nigel Bennet for playing him as well as he
does.....One minute you hate him (LaCroix, that is) and the next you admire him,
it's a great actor that can evoke such a range of emotion in an audience and
give such a complicated character such vitality and brilliance.
(can't tell I like him can ya???! *g*)

One person he reminds me of is the Shade in the Starman comics.

Both have this this delicious freedom from a strict set of morals that
hinders Nicholas. They may not always do what people consider "Right," but do
not care.

Is the ultimate irony of Forever Knight is that it will not be remembered (if
it be remembered at all) for its almost bordering cliche of 1990s brooding
vampire , but for its amoral and enigmatic antagonist?

I would be most interested in getting some as I have not been able to locate
any in my area. Please let me know how to go about it. Thanks for your
efforts.

Subject: FK ad ordering info and eBay Warning

A KtK member has just discovered that someone has a copy of the brand new KtK ad
up for auction on eBay. The starting price was a whopping $9.99 and the most
recent bid when I looked was *$31.00*!! Please, tell everyone you know who
likes FK that THIS IS A RIP OFF! Don't bid on this item just to get a copy of
the ad!

Anyone who would like a copy of the issue of Hollywood Reporter with the KtK
full page ad in it should visit:
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/info/orderissue.asp
which is the Hollywood Reporter's website. Ordering info is there. The issue
you are looking for is Dec. 12, 2000 (this week's issue). The price is only
$5.50 per issue and that price *includes* shipping inside the U.S. Outside the
U.S. the price is $10.00.

Just wanted to give everybody a heads-up on this!

Wow...I think that's exactly what I feel too..he's amazing in almost every
way. Though I love Nick Knight and the humanity that he obviously has even
though he might not believe it...there is something about LaCroix! I think
he is a true vampire.

Subject: Request and congrats

Hi Becky:

I was wondering....I had a "ministory" which I wrote last weekend about LC
and the fans of certain shows on TPTB. (Note of reference: I just learned
that TPTB are about to zap me again and take another of my favorite shows
off of the air!!! In my consternation, I composed a "Nightcrawler session"
about the issue. I was going to post it to the story list, but I wanted to
ask if either you or Kristin or anyone at KtK wanted to look at it first so
that I don't sabotage any efforts on your parts....)

Again, congrats on the ad....I will be going to Borders tomorrow to hunt for
it (along with the other monthly stuff)! Let me know on the other issue.
Thanks for all of the effort--and great job!!! :)

Sincerely,

David

Hi David!

Ummm, as much as I would have loved to be a part of this, I'm not affiliated
in any way with KtK. At least, not that I know of! LOL

Just out of curiousity, where did you hear I had anything to do with this?
Unless I really DO have something to do with it and I just totally forgot
that I had signed on to the project (which, at this point, is entirely
possible and in all cases, probable!)....

Talk to you later,
Becky
