Jody, you may be right. I don't know. But if that's the case, why did she
come after Nick and not LaCroix himself, the one who made her?

Alexandera was actually brought across by Lacroix after Nicholas
abandon her for dead.

Serena was not the only one. I seem to remember a certain angry blonde
vampire who'd like to kill him. Like Serena, it wasn't quite what she
wanted.

I don't think she knew LaCroix was the one who made her. IIRC she
remembers Nick being the one who did the deed. But my question is: why
didn't she didn't continue to come after Nick after he staked her with
that metal... You know the rules: Steel spikes can't kill a vampire..
<EG> Only wood etc.. So What happened to her? She didn't dissolve like
Richard so I'm assuming that she's still alive and licking her wounds
somewhere.

NightAngel - returning to her shadowy corner of the world.

Actually they showed her standing in the road as Nick drove away in the
last scene. No one knows why she just didn't come after Nick again.
Don't lurk. My friend we need you :)

Its beena while since Ive seen an actual episode, since SCI FI quit running
it... and I am doing a fic. I was challanged on a point I had been writing
in....

When nick (or any vamp) "vamped" outl they had two colors their eyes could
be.... Red for serious vamping, and golden for regular vamping. Am I
misremembering?

Thanks

From what I can tell, Ger's pronunciation of that word is not typical of
Canadians. In Games Vampires Play, he and at least two other actors, Lisa
Ryder among them, say the word in the same scene, and neither of the others
said it the way he did. I always assumed it had to do with his Welsh
origins. I have noticed that the British pronounce all long u sounds the way
Ger does in "clue", so that when they talk of doing one's duty, it doesn't
sound like a reference to potty habits, the way it does when we Americans say
it. <g>

We don't know that LaCroix gave her his own blood. We see him give her blood
from a glass, which could have been human vintage. To me that explains why
she came after Nick and not LaCroix. If she'd never never fed on LaCroix'
blood, just woken up and found herself with a sudden strange hunger, she'd
have nothing of him in her, and no memory or reason to go after him as well
as Nicholas.

Oh, it was definitely LC's blood all right. He bit his wrist and
allowed the blood to drip into the glass before giving it to her.

Thanks Marge, for clearing that up about the blood for Alexandra, I
wonder did Lacroix parent her or leave her to fend for herself. Why do
you think he did that. He always seemd to devalue humna life. I
thought it curious that he did this.

Subject: Possible GWD spotting

Hi all:

I am in the middle of watching the "E" channel, they are airing a
celeb profile of David James Elliott. He is the actor who stars in "JAG."
Well, anyway, they were showing pictures of his wedding a few years ago,
when I could have sworn there were three different pictures all containing a
man who was a dead ringer for Geraint Wyn Davies.
I mean, it looked *exactly* like him. Like all the other men at the
wedding this mysterious blond was wearing a kilt, and he had some facial
hair going on. (Think second season FK or Conspiracy of Fear)

Does anyone know if I might be right?
I know that David James Elliott is Canadian did Stratford as well.

Many Thanks,
Enid

Sorry. This time I've had my morning coffee before reading my

Uh-HUH. <eg> See LaCroix's comments on gods in Curiouser &
Curiouser. :) Or do you mean Nick's insane. <snort -- I'm
reminded of Valerie Kessler's friend who described Nick's coming
across as "a really bad beer decision" :).>

The gist, anyway. Like LaCroix's being Emperor of the World.

SciFi must have made a cut in that scene. As originally
broadcast, we saw LC open a vein in his wrist and drain blood
into a goblet. He then gave it to Alexandra.

Personally I always thought Alexandra displaced her anger onto
Nick because her subconscious, being smarter than she is, didn't
want to take on LaCroix. <g>

But then, I'm the one who got her nicknamed "Alexandra the
Vampire Dingbat" during the first season.
