Subject: Looking for Ger as Pericles Pic
While at Stratford in 1986, Ger starred as Pericles. The Souvenir programme
(which I do not own) from that year has a wonderful color picture of Ger in
his gold armour.
Would someone who has the programme and/or a high resolution (preferably
full sized) scan of the picture be willing to share with someone who
recently got their first color printer and would be *thrilled* at the chance
to print out a picture?
Many thanks.

Remembering it said that Parriott planned on killing off all the
characters...
Yes, I can imagine worse.
Imagine if they had shown without a shadow of a fanfic doubt the stake going
through Nick's heart and his turning to ashes. LaCroix then opens a window
and immolates himself. Natalie's body dirtied by their debris.
Worse enough for you?

(The following is posted w/ permission from Don Fasig.
Reply off list to searchgsd@p.......)
For those of you who haven't yet heard, the ringmaster of the Forever Knight
Fan Fiction Webring has decided to discontinue the webring as of Oct 8,
2000. Yahoo has recently acquired the provider of the webring meaning that
Yahoo's Terms of Service (TOS)now apply including their "perpetual
ownership" terms. Many authors, myself included, are not prepared to agree
to these terms.
I'm not sure of the exact length of time but I know the ring has been in
existence for several years and I believe it has provided an important
service for the online FK community. This being the case, I have volunteered
to create a new webring through a new provider, Bravenet.com. Their TOS are
much more agreeable and additionally they provide a few extras not available
on Yahoo's webring. At any rate...
I'd like to invite everyone who has a fan fiction oriented page to join the
ring and everyone else to drop by for a visit. To do so, go to:
http://pub22.bravenet.com/sitering/nav.php?usernum=1851150673&action=list&siteid=35149
The requirements for site inclusion are pretty much the same as those for
the old ring, just a new provider and a new ringmaster!
If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, etc. drop me an e-mail at
searchgsd@p........
Special thanks to Jill Kirby for all of her hard work maintaining the old
ring. I hope I can do as well!
Thanks!

Hmmmmmmmm.... that's a very good question.
The worse ending that I can think of for "LK" is that LaCroix is struck by a
beam of early morning sunlight after he's done his business with Nick...
LC implodes, but not before he lets out a horrific scream of pain, anguish
and possible regret.... and the blast from his implosion is so massive and
powerful that half of Toronto is vaporized in the firestorm that follows,
just like in ''Independence Day".
Talk about a worse ending! Can anyone come up with something even worse
than this? <g>

This is a re-hash of what I posted last week about Robo:
R:PD is supposed to air in the US on cable but as yet no word on what
channel or when. SciFi and HBO have been cited as possibles. Airdates, when
announced, will be posted on the GWDFC site at http://www.gwdfc.org as well
as the official Robocop: Prime Directives site at http://www.robocop-pd.ca/
Director/producer Julian Grant has promised us it will be soon.
Robocop: Prime Directives is actually four made-for-TV movies (Dark Justice,
Meltdown, Resurrection, Crash & Burn). Each segment could stand on its own
but together they tell a "big picture". The main story deals with the
original Robocop - now 10 years old and battle worn. Robo is played by Page
Fletcher who appeared in Baby, Baby (and also GWD's series Black Harbour).
Introduced in this series is a new Robo "Robo Cable" played by Maurice Dean
Wint who appeared in FK's Francesca. Also in R:PD is Leslie Hope who
appeared with Ger in Conspiracy of Fear.
Ger's character David Kaydick appears in the last two segments. Kaydick is
fun to watch!
I saw R:PD and, frankly, didn't really expect to enjoy it. However, it was a
blast! It's much closer (thank goodness) to the original Robocop. In fact,
Julian Grant and the writers ignore the follow-up movies and TV series
completely! There is a lot of humor - jokes, puns and social commentary -
built into the dialogue and it is obvious that the cast had fun with their
roles. The music is very "spaghetti western" in style and, according to
Julian, will be available from Crescendo (http://www.gnpcrescendo.com/)
sometime soon. There is a picture of the cover at the robo website.

>My mom's been ill recently, and I overcommitted myself again....
I know what that's like... by the way, my mom got back from her second
surgery last week. Everything seems to be OK. There's no wacky leg pain or
medication reaction this time. On the way home from the hospital, however,
my dad and I thought she had a petit mal seizure, but we weren't sure (we
still aren't)... we took her to a local emergency room, and she ended up
right back in the same hospital! She absolutely hated it. This has really
been messing with our mental health.... ('Course, after knowing Kathy,

Delurking, I was visiting my aunt in Fremont, CA (near San Jose/San
Francisco) when on the way to the Great Mall (what a name) I saw something
that caught my eye, but I could understand why. Apparently my aunt took a
wrong turn and had to make a U-turn back a few blocks... When lo and behold
we passed what caught my eye. There were these new buildings going up with
a big sign out in front stating that the building was being built be none
other than La Croix design and builder.
I thought what!?!, when did he start getting into building things. I
did a search for it on with MSN business search and found this info [along
with a Sanguinetti, Richard B (La Croix & Sanguinetti), a La Croix, Robert
E, La Croix Racing Stables, and a La Croix Creations (boy he DOES get into
everything)]:

He's in the latter two - Brother against Brother and Family Business, I
believe. Be aware these are edited together episodes of the tv series. In my
opinion the editing was less than ... good, but they are a lot of fun.
Especially if you've seen the tv series as there's some differences (not in

Subject: Sunday morning KtK auction update
Sunday morning's update. I'll place a couple more updates through the
day to the ML. However, if you want quicker notice of the changes to
the auction on this last day, email me about getting on the bidders’ list.
I will be posting each change as I get them in an effort to keep the bidders
abreast of new bids. Keep in mind, I can't count someone's bid until it
appears in my box.
So far the total pledged is $1243.00, toward the $1630.00 for a half
page ad. <g> Don't forget -- you can use your credit card to pay for
your choices if you want, so don't hang back if you really want
something. <smile> Bids will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. EST on
Sunday, October 8, 2000. Sorry... Send all bids to me at
Knightwave@a........ Include Item name and #, amount of bid and
name you want listed with bid. Please place bid or auction in header.
Susan has pulled together a few extra items to go to high bid amounts.
Any winning bids over $50.00 will receive their choice of our selection
of KtK buttons in addition to the articles bid on. $100.00 can choose
their choice from our mousepad designs, and anyone over $150.00 can
choose from both. This is just a little something extra to show our
appreciation for the fans’ support of our efforts. <g>
The auction may now be accessed through the KtK website,
http://www.ktk.op.nu/ or go directly to the auction page:

Subject: John Kapelos
Ok, I might be going crazy, but has anyone else seen the episode of Lucky
Leon in Lois and Clark? I swear that the villain is John Kapelos... either
that or he's got a double in the world... I mean... I watched the episode
and all I could do was keep saying, "It's SCHANKE!!!" Am I right or do I
need to go get my eyes checked (again)?
