Unless, of course, one chooses to take that as a clue that Nick wasn't
necessarily paying attention to what he was doing... ;-) (Okay, I
never really bought Jim's "hollow fangs" thing either, but what the
hey.) LK is nothing if not open to interpretation.

As for the Oedipus scenario...even before we knew for that Janette
couldn't possibly have ever seen LC's father, it always struck me as
they've played this game before, they'll do it again, that's the line
she's supposed to say, and no way in hell is she dumb enough to not go
along with it. Or if she ever did, you can bet it wasn't more than once!

Subject: Possible FK Almuni ALERT

This is an ALERT for a POSSIBLE "Inca Sighting", I mean for Damon D'Oliveira
the actor who played The Inca, Javier Vachon's vampire brother in 'Black
Buddha 1 & 2' in the beginning of season 3.
TNT is currently showing the DUE SOUTH series again and I've seen more than
one FK alumni there, and I THINK that tomorrow Wed.9-20 will show the ep in
which I BELIEVE I saw Mr. D'Oliveira. It's a Christmas-type ep and he has a
brief appearance as a robber who is killed after the job by other members of
the gang. His hair is longer than it was when he was in FK, but he looks
extremely handsome... I could be wrong, but the first time I saw this ep, I
was certain it was he! So, set up your VCRs in case you're interested-- "Due
South" on TNT 3pm EDT--check your local listings for time in your area.

P.S. Just so ya'll know, some of us do not believe The Inca met his Final
Death in BB2. Ya did not see him blow up when the bomb went "boom", did ya?!
Nope! He would have been strong enough and smart enough to just throw it
away when he got safely out of range! And, any way, if he had died, don't ya
think that Vachon would have had SOME reaction to his vamp brother exploding
--due to the eternal bond they share as 'children' of the same Master [i.e.
an expression of pain] or at the very least a sigh and expresssion of relief
that his vamp bro who's been chasing him for almost 500 years won't be
bothering him anymore?!

is my 2 cents.

I'll take that 2 cents and raise you a wooden nickel! :)
(Remembering that LK was only a dreamish nightmare...) My take on the Nick
Home Movies was that this was the director's (hey--that was Ger, wasn't it?)
way to show the emotions that Natalie was getting or feeling. If we had
only seen her grimacing, we might have only thought that Nick was in need of
Listerine<tm>.

This may be extremely dumb, but does anyone know if the actress who played Divia
had a bit part in that David Duchovny/Minnie Driver movie? Can't remember the
name, but it had "Heart" in the title....

Portia, who could swear she saw Divia delivering pizza!
(but who may have just been *eating* too much pizza... "g")

Subject: Looking for UF story

I've got someone who wants the name/author of that fic I mentioned earlier,
but I never noted it down because I'm allergic to stories where Nick dies.
[Achoo!]
Synopsis: LC is having..um..adult activities.. with Nick, but it turns out
at the end that it isn't Nick at all, just the latest in a long string of
Nick look-a-likes since Nick's death in Last Knight. It was a fairly short
story.

Anyone know the answer to this mystery item, please call me at 555-1228, or
e-mail kyer@p.......

Or, building on the theme that the blood carries everything, she may have
got the image from sharing blood with LaCroix and with a vampire's perfect
memory, is unlikely to forget the face.

The name of the film was "Return to Me". It was, in part, about a heart
transplant. Gee, I will have to look again, I have only seen the film
once.

FORKNI-L RULES

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST
MAY BE PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post in replying.
If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote the
relevant four lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of text,
your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of the six
line limit. If you have one of those services that insists on putting an
advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. We realize you can't
control that and it doesn't count as part of your sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the
person who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, <mclisa@m.......> or Don Fasig,
<Argent@e.......> for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff and
producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in the
past are ok. Vampires in general are _NOT_ ok except in relation to
Forever Knight.

7. Off-topic posts are not allowed, no matter what they are about or how
urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which you
think should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally
one of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other
than that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Con announcements must come from con officials or a designated
liaison and must be kept brief. Cons are only announced on list if there
is a connection to FK.

10. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may
make announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff,
before said projects have been released or written about in the media.

11. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

12. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

In LA, Nick and Erica discuss the images that have been exchanged with their
respective bloods.
