I read this and did the Vachon Blink for several seconds before I understood.
Santy is a night person. The rabbit does mornings. Naturally, our vampires
would be getting ready for bed by the time ol' hoppity came around. Unless
Bunnicula took over the job. But that is a literary character.

...Or... some vampire didn't make it home in time and the bunny chose the
bloodsucker's emergency hidey hole to try to stash some eggs in.
[Kyer is getting a vision of Nick taking exception to the Easter Bunny
stuffing a colored egg up the Caddy's exhaust pipe. Hires Screed to track
the wascally wandal down. Hehehehe.]

Mickey kindly wrote to tell us about Mr. Bennett's appearance in "Scrooge"
at the Neptune Theatre in Halifax.

Having gone up there to see "Hamlet" this year, I urge anyone who can go to
make the trip. The theater is wonderful and the personnel are terrific.
And it goes without saying, of course, that Mr. Bennett is magnificent on
stage. And if the cast of "Hamlet" is any indication the rest of Canada's
actors and actresses are phenomenal as well.

Having said all that, I was wondering if someone with connections to the
Neptune Theatre might be willing to ask if they'll consider taping one of
the performances for sale as a fund raiser for the theater. Those of us who
can't get up there for the real thing would certainly be interested in
having a copy. I'm sure people who *do* go up would also like to have that
kind of souvenir.

I'm sure there are all kinds of copyright issues along with a bunch of other
problems, but I just thought it would be an interesting idea to suggest.

Two things:

FIRST, does anyone have the URL for the FODs (Friends of Don Schanke) website??

SECOND, is anyone out there interested in being a beta-reader for FK fanfic?

I'm trying to put together a list of names which can be referenced by FK fanfic
writers.

If you are interested, please write me OFF-LIST.

I will need your name, e-mail, preferences if any (characters/genre),
restrictions if any (no slash/no adult/etc.), and any relevant qualifications
(college/job/etc.) or "experience" you've had as a beta reader. Plus, if you
can write a one or two sentence description of your beta-reading style to help
writers choose who might work best for them.

You, of course, will be under NO obligation to beta-read any story you do not
want to!

Thank you much,

Bonnie <callalily@l.......>

Subject: FK crossover roleplaying game

If anyone is interested, an email based role-playing game that combines
Forever Knight with Buffy the Vampire Slayer has just started. You can
read about it and join up at -
http://www.egroups.com/group/Forever_Knight_BTVS_RPG
With more info about the game at -
http://members.dencity.com/blackpool13/FKBuffygame.htm

The only FK characters taken so far are Nick, Natalie and LaCroix. The
rest are still open - as are some Buffy characters.

The real question is do you drive as badly as Nick does when
remembering things? Good thing he is immortal or he would have
killed himself years ago.

Hi,

After reading a lot of fictions, I mostly experienced LaCroix in them as a
(may be not the ideal) father figure, his deeds - even the most cruels - can
be justified with his anxiety for Nicholas. Do you know fictions with LaCroix
beeing cruel, tormenting Nick or hurting others without having this
justification? Did we see him hurting someone without any "pedagogical"
ulterior motive in the series?

Subject: Fangs Project Update :)

Hi again everyone!!
Well, as you know i have been collecting e-mails for the past few weeks
already, and all i can say is WOW!! you all have been wonderful!!
The boxes are nearly over-flowing with all the fangs and e-mails in them. and
being greedy,i am asking whoever has not sent any in to me yet, to please do
so,every single e-mail counts!!
so spread the word , and if you are online anytime of the day,KtK would love
for you to be a part of this by sending in just that one e-mail :)
for those of you that are not familiar with this project, here is the info:
...................
Hello Everyone :)
With permission From Lisa, (thanks much!) I am updating you all once a week
on the progress of this latest KtK project.
While we have gotten many to send in e-mails for this,(and we truly
appreciate those of you that have responded so far),We would love to have
lots and lots more!! more than we can count! more than TPTB can count!
Halloween is getting closer guys!,so Anytime your
online, please!! Just an e-mail could make all the difference in the world!
For those of you unfamiliar with the project, here is the info:

This Halloween, "Kickstart The Knight" will be doing something special to
Encourage *The Powers That Be* to provide us all with not only a return of
the reruns to the Schedule, but renew it as a series with the original
cast, and or return it as a series of made for TV movies, and merchandise.

We have purchased Vampire Fangs,in an assortment of neon colors.
From now through October 22nd, we are asking each and every Forever Knight fan
to please send an e-mail asking for the above.
It can be a simple e-mail asking for FK's return, or filled with as much as
you would like.
The e-mails you send me should be like the ones you have been sending
feedback during the blitz's. or snail mail letters, By now, you all know we
want more FK,the original cast, merchandise, etc.and if you like, you can
make it Halloween oriented :)
Thats what to put in, then send to me :0
i will in turn will print out and attach your mail to a set of fangs, and send
it to Tristar/Columbia and the Sci-fi Channel in coffin shaped boxes, which i
just purchased yesterday and they are gorgeous!

Remember!! We can't do this without you guys!!
Lets make sure that this Halloween is the one where we finally get what we
want!

So come-on and join in on the fun! and Help the cause! Lets make sure we
let them all know that we want Nick and Company to take another bite out of
crime!!!

Send all E-mails to : SField8067@a....... (NOT THE ML)

For those that have friends not online, we are accepting Snail mail for this
project as well. sent that to:
KtK
P.O.Box 1914
Racine,WI 53401-1914

Permission to spread the word of this everywhere!!!
Thanks in advance to everyone!

And always remember how important it is to also send snail mail to TPTB
also,Rae tells me that the snail mail count is next to nothing!! Lets not
allow TPTB think we dont care!!
when you do write a letter, send a message to Rae telling her how many you
wrote, what if any faction you would like the credited to, and send the
e-mail to: Javiette@a.......
Remember!! its not just one project, or another that will get us what we
want, its all projects and efforts combined!. and we do have lots of projects
that we are actually combining with this effort! such as our phone blitz, for
October, and our next auction, planned for the end of this month!
KtK cannot make it work without you!!!

link at the bottom of your posting didn't work. The email came back
undeliverable. Please let my know how to send you the information.

Subject: Music video update

"Once Upon A Dream", along with vids by a couple other folks, can now be
found in RealPlayer form on this page:

http://www.wiliqueen.com/vids/

Astonishingly smaller file size, but unavoidable loss of quality; so the
QuickTime file will continue to reside in the space generously provided
by Stephanie, Goddess of the FTP Archive, for the benefit of those
willing to deal with a 30MB download.

It's sheer coincidence that all the other completed vids on the page are
Buffy and/or Angel; these just happen to be the ones that have been
finished by the digital-editing segment of Apocalypse West. I'm hoping
to be able to get copies of the ones made by the mistresses of
VCRs-and-stopwatch to digitize and add in the foreseeable future. All
together, a broad range of fandoms should eventually be represented.
We're pretty omnivorous. ;-)

More FK vids are in various stages of development by several Horsechicks
(including myself, although the one I'm currently actively working on is
Farscape); they and other new vids will be added as they become available.

Well-earned plug for my comrades-in-lunacy: Dianne and Lizbet have been
at this longer than I have, and are both way better at it, so check out
their stuff if you're at all Buffy-inclined. (I figure there are a few
of those here...) In particular, "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)"
is one of the funniest things I've seen in ages; and "Uninvited" is both
technically brilliant and emotionally devastating. I'm not particularly
a B/A 'shipper, but it nails me every time. (Oh, and both of Lizbet's
vids are currently listed on beta status because she's been having
resolution problems with the full-size output, but that's not an issue
at this size.)
