artificial blood, if there is such a thing?>>
IIRC, in Only the Lonely, Nick goes looking for Nat in the morgue. On
her desk he finds her notebook on her "cure" attempts and reads it. One
page is featured and says Artificial Plasma Substitute (with a chemical
diagram near it) followed by Nick was unable to injest. ** Note: Try
increasing synthetic Lipids **
Or something like that. So evidently, she has tried it.

To me, it's very clear in FK that Nick believes in God. He's afraid of
being burned by crosses, but he believes. The look on his face in the Joan of
Arc episode when he reaches out in a desire to touch the cross & is burned
shows me that.

I'll have to politely disagree. I don't think Nick's *ever* gotten over
Janette. Yes, he goes to her when he's having problems, but I don't think
she's just an outlet for his lust. IMHO, he was so deeply hurt when she
dumped him after 97 years of marriage that he no longer trusts her not to
hurt him again. Just my opinion.:-)

I didn't that Nick doesn't believe there is a God, I think it's pretty clear
he does, especially given his background as a Crusader. The emphasis in the
show seems to be Nick regaining his soul and humanity, and also that Nick
believes he can only regain it through forgiveness (which he doesn't think he
can do as a vampire.) That was my impression, anyway.

I agree with you. I think he defiantely went to Janette in Crazy Love, among
other times out of love and defiantely not a second choice. The old fires of
their passion rekindled intensely in this episode, especially when they
become one again when he bites her by the lake. But then he goes to her
again in the end just to see her and give her an intoxicating kiss. Even
after 800 years almost, they still have these kind of fires break loose
showing just how strong their love truely is.

We are less than 24 hours away from the close of the BBFC auction. If
you have not done so, and would like to place a bid, please do it
*before* we get too close to the deadline of 10PM EST.
I wouldn't want bids to get caught up in cyber space at the last minute
and have someone lose out on an item they wanted.
Again, thank you to all of those who have bid so far! Your generosity is
most appreciated!!

I can see how it's admirable, but in the same way as a heroic death is
admirable it's not something I want to happen to me. If someone offered me
eternal youth I'd take it, no qualms. I want to live, and I want to live as
me. I'm far enough beyond my peak as it is (25). Death terrifies me.

Hi, I've been doing a lot of lurking lately, though I am enjoying the
episode summaries and discussions (just no time to respond!).
I'm looking for more authors though. Yeah, I can't live without fanfic,
I've found out. so, I'd like to know if anyone has addies for the
following authors:
Kim Colley, who wrote As I lay dying. Last addy kcolley@f.......
Katya, who wrote Under New Management and Forever and a Day. Last addy
katya@i.......
And still no word on:
Liz, who wrote Halloween Hell and King's Pawn. Last addy
e.j.andrew@s.......
Catherine Boone, who wrote White Knight and Unexpected Circumstances. Last
addy catheboo@c.......
thanks a lot!

With technology, people are going to be living a lot longer. The average
life-span is increasing every day. And with new genetic techniques, how much
do you want to bet they'll find a way to stop aging, at least for a while?
Course they'll charge us an arm and a leg for it, but at least we won't have
to sell our souls.

The auction will close tonight at 10PM EST.
Again, if you have a bid you would like to make, *please* (I know I've
said this before) do not wait until 9:58 to do it.
The BBFC will not be held responsible for lost bids, email delays, or
other circumstances that prevent a bid from reaching me before the close
of the auction.
In the event of a tie, I will contact each bidder for final bids. You
must be able to remit your bid amount within two weeks (by 8/11/00) in
order to secure the item you bid on. If you cannot do this, the item
will go to the second highest bidder.
Personal checks and money orders accepted. Personal checks will delay
shipment of item until check clears.
If you have any questions, please contact me at <jmtof@j.......>
Thank you and please forgive cross postings on this!

Subject: Blitzing for the Knight: July
Hello everyone!
This is the last reminder I will be sending out for this month's
blitz. New to the list or need to see the info again? See below...
This month we are still focusing on the two main powers, Tristar and Sci-fi.
Its going to be a double dose of e-mails from each of you the fans that
would love to not only have FK back on Sci-fi's schedule, but want to make
sure everyone knows that we are want more FK with the original cast in new
episodes and or movies!! So, what do you say? Are you ready to sit down,
take that few minutes and send off two e-mails? It could make all the
difference in the world!
Remember, say a little or say a lot, but say it!! We can make more FK
happen!!!
July 10th, through July 31st, we are asking everyone to blitz both
feedbacks!!! For these couple weeks, you can re-use the e-mails you did
before, or write new ones. They can be long, or as short as just saying,
"Bring Back Forever Knight."
Important: Bonnie Hammer (Sci-fi) seems to think we'll take just ANY vampire
series. WRONG!! In the e-mails be sure to say we don't want the new
"Ultra-Violet" vampire series! We have to absolutely in the next blitz make
sure that everyone says something in their next batch of e-mails that we are
not willing to substitute one vampire series for another!! Everyone should
make it clear that we want FK!! If "Ultra-violet is to be part of the
schedule, fine, but that does not change our minds in any way shape or form
about the show we DO want! Forever Knight!!
ALSO REMEMBER!! Sci-fi will be changing its schedule around again in the
fall.... lets make sure that we get Forever Knight on!!!
Sci-Fi's E-mail: feedback@w.......
Sony/Tristar Mail Form: http://www.spe.sony.com/spe/help_feedback_index.html
When e-mailing TriStar,(especially) give as much personal info as you
can...rather than just an e-mail name. A bit more personal carries more
weight with TPTB.
There is also a button, I made, which you can post on your websites to
spread the word about the blitzes. Have it link to my save fk page.
Long Live the Knight!
