It is day 8 of the Triple TPTB Blitz!! Today is the last final day of this huge blitz, so lets show the Powers That Be what we want! It is time to once again show just how much you want more of the Knight! Except rember this time we are not stopping with just Sci-fi. This time out, we are blitzing Sci-Fi, USA NETWORKS and Columbia Tristar! Its a triple dose of e-mails from each of you the fans that would love to not only have FK back on Sci-fi's schedule, but want to make sure everyone knows that we are want more FK with the original cast in new eps and or movies!! So, what do you say? Are you ready to sit down, take that few minutes and send off three e-mails? It could make all the difference in the world! So, say a little or say a lot, but say it!! We can make more FK happen!!! Every day, *May 15th, through May 22nd*, we are asking everyone to blitz all three feedbacks!!! You can re-use the e-mails you did before, or write new ones. They can be long, or as short as just saying, "Bring Back Forever Knight." Subject: Sad musings I think, given LaCroix' respect for Shakespeare, as evidenced in his reading of "Hamlet" on the radio in "Father's Day", that even a 2000 year old immortal would feel loss at the passing of one of greatest actors ever to grace the stage. Especially when you consider that LaCroix quite likely would have seen *all* the greats, Gerrick, Keane, even the Bard himself, on stage. I imagine the Nightcrawler noting the passing on his broadcast, intoning, with a touch of irony: "We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep." In memory of John Gielgud, 1904-2000. Godspeed. Laurie of the Isles ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 May 2000 01:52:30 EDT From: KnghtWtch@a....... Problems with the FK FTP site I was reading some stories at the FK FTP site and several times I had the same Problem: the story stopped right in the middle in one or two cases even in the middle of a word. And now I don't now how the stories end. It is driving me nuts! Does anybody hve the complete version of B. Williams prequel to "Spirits colliding" I think it was called " Something more than this" or something like that but I can't look up the name because the stupid FTP server now is producing lovely error messages every time I try to go there. And I am searching for a complete version of "This mortal coil" by ?. I know he had to have one to be a college professor when he was Nick Girard, archology prof. I don't know about TO in the FK period, but IIRC, some police forces require at least some amount of college-level studies just to be a "beat cop" -- sometimes even as far and as specific as a bachelor's in criminal justice. Would one of our resident Torontonians be able to give us some more specifics? Brenda F. Bell webwarren@e....... /nick TMana IM: n2kye Arctophile, computer addict, TREKker, stealth photographer... Well, Tracy was supposed to have gotten her degree (criminal justice probably) and then gone through the academy (9th in her class!), so Nick probably had at least the same level of education as his partner Cousin Mary anteros@j.......
