I've been working on the FK portion of my site and have added another page
of pictures to Nick's photo album. These are flashback pictures from the
1830's up until the early 1850's. I also added a video clip from the
Canadian version of I Will Repay. This is when Nat tries to convince Nick
to bring her brother across. Nothing like a little emotional blackmail,
eh?

I live in Houston, Tx and we have grocery chain called Fiesta here. They
carry Ribena in both the ultra concentrate and ready to drink forms. I
haven't bought a bottle in a year or so, but the last time I did it was
about $5.95 for the concentrate.

It was originally "little orphan Nick", only when he whammied the cartoonist
at the time he was looking at a picture of Shirley Temple.

Good point, but I wonder if the vampire community will develop some way of
fooling the technology. A little hypnotism can go a long way. But then, I

As a removed observer, who's seen dynasties and power centers rise and fall,
my guess is that LaCroix would recognize that worry as being a piece of
propaganda from Microsoft. It doesn't take account of the great variety
that's out there now. For instance, I use an ISP that doesn't have it's own
browser
or operating system; I use the Windows 95 operating system; I use the Netscape
browser; and I use Eudora email. These are four separate products or services,
and they all work fine. It's only Microsoft that is trying to create a
situation where, if you use their operating system, you also must use their
browser, their email, and, perhaps even their ISP. Hmm, I wonder if LaCroix
has another job in the P.R. department at Microsoft.

I agree. Perhaps that's because Nick is too wrapped up in his own personal
concerns to pay attention to the machinations of large corporations. Then
again, he *was* around for many of the major historical events of the world,
such as the Civil War and Russia, right before the revolution. Perhaps he
just hasn't realized yet, the similarity between political machinations
and corporate machinations.

You're not seeing it. Big Daddy Warbucks (an exceedingly powerful man)
adopted Annie. She met all sorts of famous/influential people, and never aged.
She was always on some grand adventure with the ever faithful Sandy, and

Actors Test for 'Star Wars' Role
LOS ANGELES (AP) _ A little-known Canadian actor appears to have the inside
track for the plum role of Anakin Skywalker in the next two ``Star Wars''
movies.
Hayden Christensen was among four actors who did screen tests this month
opposite ``Phantom Menace'' co-star Natalie Portman, and the actor is awaiting
an announcement from George Lucas that he landed the part, Diana Larkin, one of
Christensen's managers, said Thursday.
The trade magazine Variety and other news outlets reported that Christensen had
the part, but Larkin said LucasFilms had asked the actor's managers not to
confirm the deal until Lucas' announcement, expected within a few days.
``His name's out there, so it's pretty much public record, but we have to wait
for the official word,'' Larkin said.
LucasFilms spokeswoman Jeanne Cole said the company had no comment on the role
of Anakin, the character that grows up to be the villain Darth Vader from the
original ``Star Wars'' trilogy.
Jake Lloyd played Anakin as a boy in last year's ``Star Wars:
Episode I _ The Phantom Menace.'' Christensen, 19, is a regular in the Fox
series ``Higher Ground'' and appeared in the movie ``The Virgin Suicides.'' The
next ``Star Wars'' episode begins shooting in June in Australia.
