Crossover fanfic readers who love FK and Touched By An Angel, if you don't
have the story: 'Angels of Light' written by Maygra de Rhema, I suggest you
go to this site:
http://www.wctc.net/~tt/tbaa/stories/a/angelsoflight.html  NOW, as the site
owner will be moving her stuff soon.
Its a great story---which, unfortunately, was never submitted Mel for some
reason. <shrug>.

I did this last night. I suggested that they time the return of Forever
Knght to take advantage of Nigel's appearances in the upcoming third season
of Lexx. Kind of like independant TV stations used to start running the
original Star Trek again whenever a new Star Trek movie came out.

I'm going to *try* to do another CaveVamp story (characters tend to rebel
when I *tell* 'em to do something.), and I'd like some help with the
players.
1. I don't really care for 'Joonet' as a name. Any ideas out there?
2. Here is the cast. Am I missing anybody? I wouldn't want to not tweak
somebody's fav character. <eg>

Vampire Chimpbrains:
LaUgh===Neanderathal/mono log commentator
Joonet==Neanderathal/owner of the Black Pterodactyl
Nicooglah==Cro Mag/CocoanutBall player
Vaygon==Neanderathal/hippie & JuJu Juice addict
Urg====Cro Mag/singer
Seedy===monkey/distinguished gentleman & Swampwater Stock Owner
AtAk (Di!)==Neanderathal/Black Witch Doctor & one mean mama

Mortal Chimpbrains:
Coach Jeez==Thirsty Coach of the Sabertooth CocoanutBall Team
Stanky======Clumsy Water Boy for the Sabertooths
Trampy======Scitzo Cheerleader
Naggedly====White Witch Doctor and JuJu Juice producer

Thanks, Much!  Please comment offlist.

Evening, Gang:

Many thanks to those who've nominated my three twisted tales (Hagen-Dazs,
Another Saturday Night, and The Same Saturday Night) for the Historical SS
division. I'm immensely flattered anyone remembered, just as I'm flattered
anyone would (Voluntarily!) consent to read them in the first place. Thank
you all for encouraging me to continue posting vile trash to the various fic
lists.

I'm really very touched, and inordinately puffed up w/ ego gratification as
well.

I'm using a Mac G3 and I can watch about 95% of the video. When it gets right
near the end the picture disappears and leaves just the sound. But up till
then it's a nice clear picture and sound. One of the clearest videos I've
seen online.

    It played fine on my machine with QuickTime4 but crashed the other
viewing program, so it might be using some QT4 specific codes.

A-ha, a link to the item I saw on the TV news last night, that a collection of
erotica from the Pompeii excavations has been approved for public display
(over-12's only, or requiring parental approval), two centuries after having
been banned for corrupting the public morals.

For those of you who also enjoy Highlander, the same author has a
Highlander/Touched By An Angel crossover called "A Gathering of Angels". It
can be found on the Seventh Dimension HL fanfic site. I'm 3/4 through with
this one now, and highly recommend it.

Have you tried it recently? I uploaded a new version compressed with Indeo
5.11, a Windows codec (also has a Mac version). Most people seem able to
play it now. The problem was (I found out) that the video card I use has an
exclusive codec and you must have the same card to view the clip. I
re-compressed it using a video editor and voila! it works. :)

Oh poo! That should have gone privately. Sorry. For those of you still
having trouble with the clip, you might try downloading the new codec I
used to compress it: http://developer.intel.com/ial/indeo/video/driver.htm

For those who just throw up their hands, there is a series of vidcaps on my
Father Figure page, if you'd like to see what the clip was *supposed* to
look like.

Interesting news! BTW, I'm planning a weekly holiday in Pompei
between the 19th and 26th April. May be, some other members of the
list will be there?
