Its a great story---which, unfortunately, was never submitted Mel for some reason. <shrug>. I'm immensely flattered anyone remembered, just as I'm flattered anyone would (Voluntarily!) consent to read them in the first place. Thank you all for encouraging me to continue posting vile trash to the various fic lists. I'm really very touched, and inordinately puffed up w/ ego gratification as well. When it gets right near the end the picture disappears and leaves just the sound. But up till then it's a nice clear picture and sound. One of the clearest videos I've seen online. For those of you who also enjoy Highlander, the same author has a Highlander/Touched By An Angel crossover called "A Gathering of Angels". It can be found on the Seventh Dimension HL fanfic site. I'm 3/4 through with this one now, and highly recommend it. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 30 Mar 2000 06:49:46 -0800 From: "Nancy A. Have you tried it recently? I uploaded a new version compressed with Indeo 5.11, a Windows codec (also has a Mac version). Most people seem able to play it now. The problem was (I found out) that the video card I use has an exclusive codec and you must have the same card to view the clip. I re-compressed it using a video editor and voila! it works. :) Nancy ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 30 Mar 2000 07:17:40 -0800 From: "Nancy A. That should have gone privately. Sorry. For those of you still having trouble with the clip, you might try downloading the new codec I used to compress it: http://developer.intel.com/ial/indeo/video/driver.htm For those who just throw up their hands, there is a series of vidcaps on my Father Figure page, if you'd like to see what the clip was *supposed* to look like.
