Attention Gerthering 5 Attendees:

I was watching my local news when it was briefly mentioned
that today, March 6, is the anniversary of the battle of the Alamo with Davy
Crockett.

I now invite all of you to join my in a collective giggle, because
I couldn't help but think of all of you! Take care and be well!

Subject: Fanfic and a new webpage

In keeping with the sharing of fiction pages, I thought that I would
announce that I've finally gotten off of my slackerly keister and built
a new website to house my fiction.

Go to http://members.xoom.com/tracysue1/Library.html
(make sure to capitalize the L in library)
This is where I've moved my Inferno Series. The X-Men/Forever Knight
crossover series. (I plan to finish it. But I won't be able to post it
on Fkfic-l, so you'll have to read it on my webpage when it goes up).

For you Vaqueros, I've also put a t-shirt design with a version of the
faction logo up.

Please look at it and tell me if you like it.

And now Cole Porter's tune is running through my mind:

Someone to watch over me.

It might make them an even bigger pain in the ash than
Lacroix. <g>

I'll offer a toast to that thought knowing how hot LaCroix is in some fans'
eyes! Even when he's a tad hot under the collar, the Cousins think he's
"Smokin'!"

Subject: Forever Knight HAS Dropped Officially!

Forever Knight has now dropped "Officially" to #7!!! It WAS #2! What
happened?? It shows it on its page as the official postion but on the main
chart it does not. But instead of saying unofficially #7 it says it
"officially" which means for real. Unofficially actually is worst, #8! I was
hoping we were going to get to #1. Don't give up guys. We've been striving
for #1 months now! We have to show we will NOT go away. We must show our
love for the greatest show of all time!

GO HERE TO VOTE FOR FK:
http://www.global100.com/item.asp?Item=51259

(Please try to do this daily, or atleast once a week. A fan noticed that if
you don't re-new your votes every so often they lower less than a full 100%
which lowers its postion)

Here's how to vote for any who may have forgotten...

There are different levels on Global 100 Charts. If you are a Low Level
voter you can select up to 10 points. Normal Level voters can select up to
20 points. "High Level" voters can select up to 30 points worth of shows.
These will determine how much your votes are worth, so please strive for as
much as possible and be a High Level Voter.

Note: You can increase your level on your Personal Card. This is where you
can store information about yourself. Some of this data is used in the
voting process to improve the quality of the charts. When you're new you
start at the Low level. You can increase your level when your email address
has been verified. The higher your level the more weight your votes have in
the charts. If you answer the questions about your 'gender', 'birthday',
'location' and 'public address', you will get a High level.

Be sure to type in your user name and password when voting.

Long Live the Knight!

Thanks for the update, Kristin. For some reason I thought you could only
vote monthly. I'll be sure to get there MUCH more often now!

It's the third episode of season One. In order, right after Dark Knight Part

I have a suggestion....which I realize could be a pain but if you could post
this addy every day it would remind people to log on a vote. I stop reading
the list and vote immediately, everytime I see the addy posted. With the
number of post on the list, we sometimes forget to vote before we log off.
Posting the reminder with the addy everyday, I am sure would remind people to
vote right then and there. Thanks for your efforts.

I would post more often like that but I don't know if Listmommy would like
that. Or would she mind? Atleast till FK climbs again.

I was emailing with a fellow FK fan who said something that got me wondering.
Can you imagine Nick, LaCroix and Janette plunked down in the Monty Python
and the Holy Grail version of Medieval England? Okay so Holy Grail was Dark
Ages England, but Nick wasn't born then so fudge it and say medieval. I
certainly think by virtue of his Imperial Roman fastidiousness LaCroix might
be mistaken for the king. <weg>
Too bad Screed wasn't "born" yet, 'cause he'd fit in beautifully. <g>

That gets me wondering, did you ever think that Screed and Baldrick from
Blackadder might have been long lost twins? <g>

Discuss. ;-)

Greetings all,

I just had the honor of educating someone in another fandom who was surprised
and pleased to learn that there is an online fandom for FK. I told him/her
about Mel Moser's archive, and JADFE, and gave him/her the URL for Mr.
Happy's site as well, as a good place to get started navigating FK online.
In doing so, I was reminded of how much we really do have, and how creative
we are. This was my first online fandom, and all you FK folk have set the
bar pretty high for my expectations of courtesy, fun and comradeship in any
online fandom. FK's online community is a pretty tough act to follow, and I
wanted to thank you all and say that we should all be proud.
