I had a sudden flashback (ohhh - dangerous sign...) from a past FK episode and I was hoping someone could help me remember the details. I believe it was a second year episode. I vaguely remember part of it involving a large monetary investment Nick had made that suddenly disappeared or was stolen. The details I remember are very sketchy ... a banker dies and Nick realizes it's an old friend with whom he entrusted a fortune. I don't remember much else. Hopefully, this will "click" with somebody. Even if I can get the episode title, I may be able look up the details in one of the on-line archives. I am primarily interested in who the invested money belong to. Was it all Nick's? Anyway, any help will be appreciated! I believe the last authorized version of PKWARE was PKZIP204g. There is also a valid pkware version for Windows. But remember, even if this is a real virus, it's only one of literally thousands and thousands of viruses out there. *Don't Panic!* Learn to deal intelligently with the problem. I realize most of you folks have been doing this long enough not to want to read all this. But, for those who are new to this, you just need to learn enough to do these two things: 1) Get a good virus checker! (There are plenty of shareware and freeware ones available) 2) Make backups! Although this isn't absolutely foolproof, it goes a long way to avoiding problems. Ooops. I didn't mean to get so off-topic...what can I say -- I'm a computer teacher. :-) If anyone wants to know more about computer viruses and prevention, feel free to email me privately. That's assuming consistency, though. This is Forever Knight you're talking about, remember! Forever Knight is nothing if not ambiguous. (And I love it!) Maybe they only did it so we could have this debate <bg>. Or maybe he dreamed it out of guilt. For what, you ask. Oh, who knows. After all, he felt irrationally guilty as if he had caused the plane crash, so why not feel irrationally guilty about Claire's death? Besides, if he didn't bring her across, but he took the Buddha anyway, then he'd really have been stealing the Buddha, so maybe he felt guilty about that. >Speaking of her asking Nick about how he would feel with all those deaths on >his conscious, isn't that a rather odd question since as far as she knows >vampires drink human's blood and kill to do it? Or does she think they just >"sip"? She doesn't seem to have thought this out very clearly. It doesn't seem to have occurred to her that becoming a vampire would make her a killer too. Or at the very least, make her want to kill. And Nick doesn't tell her. Hmm, maybe that's what he feels guilty about. He was so desperate to be mortal, he was willing to condemn somebody else. That fits with the whole Buddha thing later. He's so desperate to become mortal that he took the Buddha in spite of the curse it was supposed to have, thereby condemning people to death, or so he believed. Oh, dear, and I thought this was going to be a light-hearted post when I started. Just a quick request of anyone who will be in SF this weekend. My darling baby sister has been going through a rough time lately. Therefore, I have decided to give her my ticket to SF and my room at the hotel. If you happen to see a blue-eyed, slender woman, mid-twenties, with short dark curls a la Shalom, who answers to Christian, please say hello and introduce yourself. She is utterly FK unaware, poor darling, but lovely and warm nevertheless. If you are interested in the SF Museum of Modern Art, the Warf, Chinatown, powershopping, swimming, working out, or just a clever lunch companion, definately seek her out. She may even be seduced into going to some of the convention, but I have not been able to convince her to watch the show, as of yet. In any case, she's a dear, so please seek her out if you have the time. Oh, and don't tell her I told you to, just say that you are an aquaintance of her sister, JC. I need photos and play reports for the July newsletter. The April newsletter will be out shortly and, fortunately, I was able to get enough of my own photos for it. However, I've already seen all of my photos and I'd like to see what the rest of you got (and share them with Deb's club members). If you send group photos, please identify anyone in the photo that you know so that I can acknowlegde them--I'm good with faces, but terrible with names. I would be more than happy to reimburse you for the cost of reprints and postage! I would also love to get reports from any of you. They needn't be long; just your impressions of the play and of the pre-play dinner would be wonderful. You can send them to my e-mail address (jreliga@a.......) if this is more convenient. You may send anything else you wish to share to the fan club address below. Thank you in advance to any of you who help me out in this way. An acquaintance of mine (someone I met through the club), has written a lovely song for Deborah called "Rise Up, Love". She sent a tape to Deborah and allowed me to listen to it before I sent it on to her. It is, of course, about Janette's love for Nick and I was very impressed by it. She is currently working on a 3-song vampire project, which includes the above song. She plans to have them available on cassette by late summer/early fall for $6.25 (this includes S&H). I assure you that the quality of her work is very professional and the song I sampled was exceptional. Anyone interested in further information on this cassette should send an SASE to : Kari Tieger 00 Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx, Xxxxx Xxxxxx 00000 Believe me, I am no way monetarily benefitting from this. I just liked the song so much that I thought you Ravenettes might like it too! For couples: $22.50/$27/$36 respectively. Membership Packet Includes: An 8x10 Autographed Photo, a Bio and List of Professional Credits, Childhood Photos, Membership Badge, Newspaper Clippings (both past and from "The Winter's Tale"), and Current Newsletter. Couples will each receive their own autographed photo and badge, but only one folder of the other items will be sent and only one newsletter. In addition to the newsletter sent with your membership packet, you will receive three more issues in the course of your annual membership. I know it's a bit early to start thinking about it, but time has a way of getting away from me, so I'm sure it is the same for some of you. Anyway, those of you who wish to send cards may send them to me any time between now and June 19th. I have an envelope all prepared to receive them and will hold them until the 19th before sending the envelope to Deborah (the postage to Canada will be at my expense). If you wish to send a gift, it will need to be handled a bit differently. You will need to wrap the gift for mailing and have the appropriate postage to Canada applied to it. Then, you will need to wrap it again and mail it to me. I will remove the outer wrapping, add Deborah's address and send it on to her. You may send these to me at any time before the 19th of June and I will hold them 'til then before sending them on. I will remind you all again at the end of May so that you don't miss out if you want to send her greetings. Bye for now---Carpe Noctem!
