Smith" <libratsie@s.......> Subject: Marg and I got to have dinner tonight! Some years ago at a "Gregering" in Toronto (the Greg Kramer gatherings where we'd see him in a play then meet up with him for a visit after), I met Marg in person. Tonight, she happened to be spending the night Little Rock, Arkansas making her way home. We got to have supper then... Marg now has the designation of being the first to have seen both Greg and me in plays ;-D It was a tech rehearsal for me so was far from perfect, plus we have cast members with crud, but she says she enjoyed it <g> I open Friday in "Baby: The Musical." FK Fans go on, and on, and on... --Libs ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Feb 2014 08:45:34 -0500 From: Laura Davies <bratling2@g.......> Subject: WAR: Delays I'm sorry y'all. The state of Georgia has declared yet another state of emergency due to winter weather. Chances are I'm going to lose power due to all the ice and snow in the near future. Which means that while I can continue to work on the last Merc storylines longhand, I may not be able to post them until the end of the week if the weather gets any worse. Cross your fingers... I live in an all-electric house! Laura ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Feb 2014 16:57:18 -0500 From: Greer Watson <gwatson2@r.......> Subject: WAR: Let's get those last posts in, please! War 15 has been played by easier rules than yesteryear. In particular, although there was a final date for events (i.e. the day after the party at Casa Loma), the actual *deadline* for final posts has been easy. Instead of a firm cut-off at midnight Sunday, people have been allowed to keep on posting. However, all good things have to come to an end. Eventually. Some factions have gone to the party, attended the memorial, packed up, and already said their goodbyes. (Congratulations to all of you!) Some are still lingering after the ball. If you still plan, in an indefinite sort of way, to do a "going home" post, would you please write it? And then there are a few--and we know who we are--who are still bogged down in the middle of something. (And yes: I'm as guilty as anyone, since I've only just got the Die-Hards to Casa Loma.) How many people still have posts to do? Could we have a show of hands from those who still have something they want to write? Then maybe we can firm up a really *final* deadline.
