Thank you! Steph and I love being able to bring these old sites back to the
open web. For one thing, we can return faction sites, your and others, that
disappeared years ago. We are also restoring hubs and info sites, and even
some personal sites, especially when they are ones that were often mentioned
in links lists of yore, and hence likely to be familiar and missed. We are
troubled--as no doubt you have been too--by the loss of so many FK sites
down the years.
We also want to preserve our fandom's history. Clearly we aren't alone in
this. Both Cheryl and Desiree have supplied us with material that they
saved many years ago, back in a time when computers had far less capacity
than they do today.
Sadly, not all sites are restorable. Some are lost forever. Still, we have
at least been able to snatch a few back from oblivion.

Is Chanda Keith still on list? Or, if not, does someone have an up-to-date
e-mail address for her so that I can get in touch.
The Wayback Machine has a very good copy of "Our Dark Lady of Forever
Knight" (the old Ravenettes' site), which Chanda created while at
university. It disappeared years ago (I suspect, when she graduated).
However, "very good" is not perfect. She may well not have the handful of
missing screen captures, of course; but she may still have the odd story or
two of hers that I haven't been able to locate.

Cheryl has just sent me the story of Chanda's that was missing from "Our
Dark Lady of Forever Knight", as well as some of the missing pictures. So
the Ravenettes can look forward to seeing their faction site again, very
soon.
