Subject: Sad news about a fellow fan
It is with a deeply saddened heart and tears in my eyes that I must announce
that the wonderful, funny Susan Field has journeyed on. She is free from
the pain cancer brought to her. April, a UFer no longer on this list,
has asked me to post her e-mail address so you may contact her about sending
a card or letter to her family. They will not see any on-line postings or
notes:knghtmar44@s....... Because Susan would be terribly upset if
I didn't add this... All the wee lil' ratsies pause in their antics and
pull wee lil' hankies out o' their wee lil' furry coats to wipe their wee
lil' tears. Fly free, Susan! And save us a good seat.

I'm so very sorry to hear this. Susan was always a favorite of mine. I wish
I'd known of her illness earlier.
It's all right, BTW, about the repost. A death in the family, as it were,

I've contacted April, off-list, about sending my condolences to the
family, but I'd like to say publicly that Susan was a great friend.
We kept in contact at holidays over the years, and I'm very saddened
by her loss. It's always hard losing a friend, but at least she no
longer suffers. Fly with the angels, Susan!
