In the series, Nick's loft's address is 101 Gateway. Lane, I think.
There is a 101 Gateway Blvd in Toronto, and it's a lovely area
with a church, MacDonald's, large parking area, and just off a
park. Definitely not the industrial warehouse type area Nick's
loft was located in.

Gateway Lane was given the name in honor of the firm of auto body works (I
think; it may have been a garage) called Gateway which occupied the
builfdng used for establishing shots of the loft. It has now been gentrified
into condos.
