Hi All,
You know all those cheesy flying sequences in first season Forever Knight
that we all sort of laugh at? Well, last night's episode of Moonlight had a
flying sequence of sorts where Mick "flies" up into a ferris wheel. It was
every bit as cheesy as the worst flying sequence in FK!
I really think the production people at FK made good choice when they switched
over to the actor jumping off the box, implied flying sequences in later
episodes. Sometimes when production budgets are low, less is definitely more.

This was done ourely out of economics. By having it in
Toronto, they didn't have to hide the CN Tower, paint
the police cars, cover city signage, etc. And, it turned out
to be one of their best moves.

Toronto was and is a great setting for the show. I guess that's why I like
watching Blood Ties. I watch this show mainly to catch street scenes that
were used in FK. Kinda like revisiting FK on the streets of Toronto. Oh what
memories....sigh.
