Subject: today's FK moment

I am a recruiter, and today we had a candidate from
Ontario named Nicolas (originally from Montreal) apply
to a requisition number ending in 1228!!!! I got to
pronounce his name correctly (NicoLAH) and he was
rather impressed :)I DIDN'T tell him my kitten was
named Nico after you-know-who.

('Course, those 8 years of French didn't hurt but I
cannot tell a lie...it was Janette who taught me the
true pronunciation :)

Listening to a local radio station today at work that
was doing a salute to the 80's.  The Bangles song walk
like an egyptian came on, and these lyrics caught my
ears:

So strike a pose on a Cadillac

If you want to find all the cops
They're hanging out in the donut shop ...

Of course Nick & Donut Don came to mind, and everyone
on the chain (I work in a freezing works) looked at me
like I was nuts when started banging on the table and
cheering.
