<sigh> The imprecision of the English language plus a calendar-challenged
McLisa seems to have done it again. The end of the war is now Monday, November 22nd,
at midnight as Monday becomes Tuesday. Yes, it is the extension.

Please, everybody, don't worry. Even if someone does run over time, I'm not
going to yell at or penallize him/her. Mistakes happen and information slows
down. Heaven knows I've demonstrated that this afternoon myself.

I just posted a War story to FKFIC-L for someone else, and for some reason
the copy I got back from the list has some weird stuff at the top & bottom,
apparently from AVG (my anti-virus program). How did it come through for
everybody else? Sorry if it got messed up -- I've never seen this happen
before.

My copy looks fine, Tok. No weirdness -- other than possibly the post
itself. :::ducking and running:::

It came through mine with the above coding at the top, but the story itself
was not garbled. By the way, your post asking about this also came through with
the coding on it (which is what the above is from)

I figured out what it was. The version of AVG antivirus I had on this
laptop was massively out of date. When I updated it, it decided to turn
email scanning back on. That's where that stuff came from, but not
everyone sees it. Thanks, Libby.

I found it easily by using the search box at the top of the page. The
one that says search articles within the past 7 days.

Well, there may be a one-day extension to the War; but your weekly
Season IV "broadcast" is going to resume its regular schedule.
Episode Eight is now linked in, along with its Notes page.
As well, I've started to put up a new feature, which may (or may
not) be helpful to anyone who is actually trying to visualize the
episodes -- descriptions of the permanent sets, with appropriate
illustrations, where possible. It may seem perverse that I've started
with Tracy's apartment; but that's largely because it's a relatively
small set compared with things like the police station and loft. And
there's not a great selection of pictures to sift through on the
archive sites (more's the pity). I'm *quite* sure that there are more
angles that could have been screen-captured; but there we are. I can
only use what's available.
Anyway, the url for the site (for those who don't yet have it
bookmarked) is
http://ca.geocities.com/gwatson2@rogers.com/index.html. And for those
interested in looking around Tracy's apartment, you'll find a link to
the *brand-new* main Sets page off the home page -- and the link to
Tracy's apartment is off that.
