You know you've been reading too much FK fanfiction when you see the
headline on Yahoo, "Nike co-founder Knight steps down as CEO", and
mistake Nike for Nick.  I had to re-read it a couple of times before it
registered properly.

Subject: Holiday Card Exchange Addendum

Hi Y'all!

Cindy Clark made what I think is an excellent suggestion. Since different
groups celebrate different holidays, she asked that you include with your
name and address, the holiday(s) that you celebrate so that the holiday
card exchange participants could mail you an appropriate card.

If it's not too much trouble, could you please add the holiday(s) that
you celebrate to your name and mailing address.  Remember to get this
info to me by Dec. 1.  Email me privately, eowyn3@j......., if you want
to participate in the card exchange and please put Holiday Card Exchange
in the subject line. The response has been great so far and several
international fans have added their names to the list.

For those of you who have already sent your info, I'll be sending out
confirmation messages shortly, please just reply to that message and send
back the holiday(s) that you celebrate.  Thanks!

Emily also had a great idea.  If you can't afford to send cards, you
could send holiday post cards instead.  Thanks for the suggestion, Emily!

Another suggestion:

How about each member who submits info put their birthdates and anniversary
date if they're married. Example:  "April 11 Birthdate, &  August 12,
1978--the date married", so we know how many years.  I think this would be a
great addition. This way, we'll have the info and can send cards to those we
know.

This is a great idea but I really just wanted to collect mailing
addresses and send them out to those who would like to send cards for the
holidays.  I really don't have time right now to collect and organize
this much information.  I could keep it in mind for after the holidays
but maybe YOU could start collecting and keeping the anniversary info.<G>
 Their are quite a few participants on the birthday list already and I
don't have the list cross-indexed to be able to find each person's
birthday and add it to the holiday card exchange.

Sorry for the bum posting but I'm having on of those days...sleep
deprivation/chocolate withdrawals have all been multipled and amplified since
I bought my own copy of the Abarat today and almost knocked down a Vachon
lookalike while running from the bookshop...
