Hi Y'all!

This is posted with the kind permission of McLisa (waves to McLisa).

I'd like to start an FK Holiday Card Exchange. Here's how it works.
Anyone who wants to participate sends their name and mailing address to
me, eowyn3@j......., PRIVATELY and I will put that name and address on a
list. Please put "Holiday Card Exchange" in the subject line. On December
1 I will email the list to everyone on it. You then send a Christmas
card to as many people on the list as you want and/or can afford postage
for. You are not obligated to send everyone a Christmas card if you
don't want to. Then just sit back and enjoy all the holiday cards!

I know we have some international friends and the PO has designated
December 6 as the earliest recommended mailing date for certain parts of
the world. I'm asking that if you want to participate in the Holiday
Card Exchange that you send me your info by December 1 so that I can get
it to everyone in plenty of time to get the cards out on time.

I will not send this list to anyone who is not on the list and I will
delete the file once it has been sent to all the participants. Happy

eowyn3@j....... or eowyn@w.......

*steps out of deep lurkdom*

ComingSoon.net has been doing a series of interviews with Vin Diesel
about Tuesday's release of The Chronicles of Riddick on DVD.

In the second part (linked above) they mentions that Kristin Lehman's
scenes - completely removed from the theatrical version - have been
put back in the DVD director's cut to add more depth to the story and
to set up the next film. She's credited with voice work on imdb for
the video game but not the DVD yet.

I really liked the movie but I'll admit the genre may not be to
everyone's liking. It is a visually stunning movie, though, so it's
probably worth the rental price to see Kristin.

And here I was jumping up and down to buy the DVD before I read that :)
