I'm so proud of my dad...
There's nothing really on tv tonight, so I popped in my dvds. At
the very beginning of DK1, where Janette is in the background and the
"PARIS - 1228" is displayed on the bottom, my dad came in the room
and looked at the tv and said "Forever Knight?"

Woo hoo, way to go dad!
Another 'go dad!' moment was when I was showing my pictures from my
trip to toronto and on several of the tour sites, he was like "I
recognise that place."
And he isn't even a real fan, he'll just sit and watch it if I have
it on.

in the middle of a war... shocking i know....

Was watching the tv show 'The OC' at a friends last night...marisa's mother was
having a couple's hen party and her sister shows up revealing all her silly
secrets.... "Anyone know her first crush?" some silly answer given by Tracy
Vetter's brunnette perky-twin..."No" the sister replied "Rick Springfield"
...thought i'd share LOL

I WARNED you, but did you listen to me?
Oh, no, you know, didn't you?
Oh, it's just a harmless little BUNNY, isn't it?

Many thanks to you, Will! I put the Celsius to Fahrenheit
and the Miles to Kilometres formulas in my graphing
calculator for future reference. If anyone wants to ask
me for a conversion, especially during the war, feel free. :)

I just sent a war post with no subject line, which may or may not be bounced
back to me. In any care, please accept my apologies.

Better go take nap now.

Just FYI: It is not necessary for the American participants in the war
to translate measurements to metric. Of course you can if you wish, and
it does lend verisimilitude to your stories if you add details like the
posted speed limit (in kph) or the temperature on a bank sign (in
Celsius).

But if your brain still works in the English system, you may certainly
drive 85 mph on the 401 (just like all the Canadians do) on a crisp, 35
F-degree Ontarian afternoon.

Subject: WAR: Whoops

I have an "oops" apology...

A few hours ago, I posted a humble request on behalf of General Lucius (okay
just kidding) that because the war is happening in Canada, it might be
nice/respectful/etc. if writers would refer to measurements of distance,
temperature, etc. in Metric (metres, kilometres, celsius, etc.) rather than
in Imperial, since after all, if I were writing about something happening in
the States, it would probably be weird/strange/unseemly to be writing about
measurements in Metric when the action is going in in the USA.

The only problem was...I wrote it on FKFIC-L. which is apparently a no-no.

Also, in case anyone took the rest of my post too seriously, I was for the
most part just kidding. I mean, heck, would I be serious in saying "please
don't tell anyone else in Canada" (that I referred to French fries as
"freedom fries") with the implication being that my fellow Canadians would
hunt me down and kill me if they knew?!? Seriously, I was Just Kidding.
Geez Louise.

Cheers,
W.

Subject: WAR: Regarding Urs

Since the Cousins don't want to take charge of Urs for this war, she
will be in the custody of the War Maestro, just like Janette, Miklos,
and Alma are.

If any faction wishes to use any of these characters, please request
permission from me and I will make sure their schedules are free.

...is free to attack me if you like. :-) (In fact, I even have an idea,
too, so I'm almost begging someone to take me up on it :-) I'd even
consider switching allegiances just so I could attack myself because I think
it's so darned funny - just kidding Cerberus).

Just make sure to run the time and place by me so that I know there's no
conflict.

Cheers,
