Okay, I had a few minutes on my lunch hour...Nancy Kaminski
There once was a vampire named Nick,
Who preferred not to be Lacroix's pick.
He oft ran away,
And with humans would play,
'Til reeled in by some nasty trick.

"Dearest Nat, why must you make
"These white chalky horrible shakes?
"They upset my tummy,
"And are truly not yummy.
"Next time, why not puree me a steak?"

"Oh la la, Nicolas, mon amour,
"What is your blood preference du jour?
"Oh, today it is cow?
"One thing I know now,
"Your breath holds for me no allure!"

There once was a man of Pompeii,
Who drank too much one August day.
Vesuvius blew up,
And Divia did sup,
'Twas a hangover cure the hard way!

    Okay, probably the worst yet:

There once was a vamp named Vachon
Who was known not for brains nor for brawn
In fact, he was quite lazy
But he drove the girls crazy
With his long hair that was just clip-on

I might have more in me, but not at ten to three in the morning :-P =
. Maybe later, on some sleep. . .

Does anyone remember if the phone message at the end
of the episode has the name of Lily's husband on it? I
know she talks about her brother and her son Nicholas.

My DVD is with a friend I'm trying to convert... :)

I just checked my script. No mention of the husband's name. Only
that her oldest son... Nicholas is almost sixteen.

Subject: Looking For N&N story

I just finished reading "One Day in The Sun" by Christine Hantzopulos Hunt.

At the end of the story she posted that this wasn't the end that she would
be posting "The Issue".

"The Issue", Nick and Natalie must deal with the consequences of their
intimacy...and Nick must struggle to save Natalie and their unborn child
from the Enforcers, the Elders, and the strange transformation taking
place in her....

I can't find the continuation. Does know where I can access this story? I'm
desperate to read this:

The Issue by Christine Hantzopulos Hunt

Also, is 'The Issue' the last in the series, or was there more?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hmm... blame this on a strange day at work.

I had difficulties with my rhyming scheme, so I ended up taking liberties
with "LaCroix" (in the literary sense only, of course).

I know I've missed an accent, but I didn't want to risk messing up the
formatting.

The ancient vampire named LaCroix
Was staked by his son - au revoir.
To Nick's shock: not adieu
Once more folie a deux
With his Roman disdain and sang-froid.
