Do anyone know where I can find the story, "My

Thanks.

Someone has just posted on the SCIFI bboard the reply they got from an email to
Sony:

"They should be released early next year, but we haven't set release dates
yet."

Now might be a good time for an email campaign from the fans.... US!

Subject: S2 FK DVDs

I have just a little bit more detail on the FK Season 2 DVDs to share with
the List. Some of you may remember that I had gotten and shared detailed info
on the Season 1 DVDs, including the pricing error that had been made in the
original announcement and info on what the correct price was going to be (which
didn't make anyone very happy, but it was accurate). Anyway, I was able to
find out more about the S2 DVDs from the same source in the company as I got
the
S1 info from. She indicates that S2 is tentatively scheduled to come out in
January. As was mentioned in other posts, they don't have a firm street date
yet, but at least we have a specific month. When she knows more she will get
back to me, and I will post it. With the first set, I got a copy of the
official announcement about a week before the official announcement was made.
The
official announcement was about 6 weeks before the preorder date, and 10 weeks
before the street date. Following the same pattern, I imagine we should hear
more somewhere in the range of October 18 to November 22. :-)

Apologies to all for the mis-placed line breaks in my original post, which
made my post hard to read and my sig appear to be more than 6 lines. Neither
of these were the case before AOL screwed it up. And apologies in advance for
anything stupid that AOL does to this post as well.

The story is "Art Imitating Life" I think.

I thought I remembered reading that Nigel was only going to be able to do 3
performances during the run.

I am also planning on going up for both plays. I am trying to get the dates
coordinated with a friend from New York. We met when we stayed at the same
hotel in Stratford for MFL, and then inadvertently found ourselves in the
same group when we went to see *Lear*.

This is why if Nigel was only doing 3 performances, I needed to get the
dates straight.

Thanks for the help!

Well, from Nigel's website it looks like he will be
doing all perfomances, although it does show that he
is taking some personal time as for a con in LA:

http://www.blackhatstation.com/play.htm

GOODNIGHT DISGRACE
Nigel will play Conrad Aiken in Postscript
Productions' Goodnight Disgrace October 18 - November
7, 2004.

Due to Leon Pownall's unexpected illness, Nigel will
take over the lead role of Conrad Aiken in this
production.

From his wheelchair in a nursing home, the aging
Conrad Aiken, novelist and Pulitzer Prize-winning
poet, recalls his long, stormy friendship with Malcolm
Lowry. When Aiken was 40, Lowry’s father paid him to
tutor young Malcolm in writing skills. The protégé
becomes Aiken’s friend, and gradually a real literary
contender. This play reveals the shifts in the two
men’s relationship as they struggle with alcoholism,
women, creative energy, and each other; and as the
student metamorphoses into a rival. Read more about
the play.

Performance Schedule

Special notice: Nigel will be in Los Angeles Sunday
Oct. 24 and Monday Oct. 25, 2004 to be with the fans
at Lights, Camera, Auction - Take 7! as this charity
is very important to him. Although he has a
professional commitment during that month, he will be
spending his personal days off from his theatre
schedule to be with his fans.

For those that linkages don't work in email, here's
the article:

"Columbia TriStar has told us that they will release
Forever Knight: The Trilogy - Part 2 despite poor
sales of the first season.

Fans felt slighted when they were told future seasons
were unlikely because of poor sales of season 1, but
the company is trudging on. We expect the set to
mirror the season 1 set. If you've been putting off
purchasing season 1 to see if they would continue with
the series then we'd recommend picking it up before
season 2. Season 3 hasn't been scheduled, and if sales
of season 2 are lower than season 1 then it's
extremely unlikely the series will be completed. If
you're a fan of the show then please purchase the DVD
sets.

We have to admit that the news of the second season
being released shocked us since we've heard about poor
sales of season 1 for almost a year now.

You probably want the release date - January 4th,
2005. Mark it down, and save some money for the set.
Please note that this is the currently scheduled date,
and it may change."

<bg> Sounds good to me!

Laura (who just got the email from TV Shows on DVD)
