Here's the Shakespeare Theater's official announcement to subscribers:

GERAINT WYN DAVIES TO PLAY CYRANO
Geraint Wyn Davies, who recently played Edmund in the Lincoln Center
Theater production of King Lear, will play the title role in the Theatre's
production of Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac. Directed by Michael
Kahn and featuring a new adaptation by Barry Kornhauser, Cyrano de Bergerac
runs June 8 through August 1, 2004. Wyn Davies replaces Stacy Keach, who
was unable to join the company due to an extended recovery from knee
surgery. Among Mr. Wyn Davies many stage, film and television credits are
three seasons as the lead character on Forever Knight.
