I am looking for a story that I read a long time ago.  I forget the
title or author, but the basic idea was that Nick had regained his
mortality (forget how) and he was having second thoughts about his
choice -ie. he had gotten used to having the extra powers, and such.
Any ideas?

Soul of Redemption by Cheryl Pillsbury.  He regained his humanity but slowly
lost his memory of being a vampire.  I'm not sure if this is it but it's one

I just noticed that Hisselfishness's new book is available for per-order at
www.amazon.com for about $16. The title is "Wally."

(As far as I know he is NOT the Greg Kramer who has written all the gaming
books)

Wouldn't it be great if the pre-orders took off?

I know little about this novel by design, but he has discribed it as "a
tragedy" and quite different from his other novels.

His birthday is in a few days, and I bet what he'd really like from his fans is
for his book pre-orders to take off! ;-)
