Just one question about the auction, on behalf of all the list members
who live outside the North American continent - are you prepared to ship
world-wide? I realise there will be extra postage to pay, but if the
auction team aren't prepared to ship world-wide, there's no point me
even looking to see what you've got, let alone bidding...

The same seller has a hardcover copy of "Keeper of the

I was driving into work this morning and I passed two trucks right
behind each other. The first one was for "Knight" freight company
and the second was for "Raven" freight company.
Now I have seen these two companys many times before, I just thought
it was really cool that they were one right after the other on the
highway.

Subject: CD's interview for Snakes & Ladders (pt 3 of 3)

Interviewer Michael Enright (ME) asks if CD did any research in Ottawa for her
role.

CD: I didn't have time. This was a very quick process of reading for Wayne, &
auditioning, and going "Whoops, you're going to Halifax!" So I didn't have time
and I would like to, but in a way it was fun to just dive in and take the words
and run with it. I said to Wayne, "Do you mind if I improvise a bit?" And I
think Wayne was a bit scared. He said, "no, not at all-if it's good, I'll take
credit for it, and if it's not, I'll tell you to stop."

ME (to Snakes & Ladders writer/producer Wayne Grigsby): You didn't say that?!

WG: Yes, I did!

ME: And did you?

WG: Yeah, sure.

ME: Well, that's an interesting point, When you write a script, and you work on
it, and polish it and so on, and then some uppity actor comes along and says,
"Hey, I'd like to fool around with this", what do you do?

WG: In the past, I used to slap 'em down, say "Just say the words as written",
but as I get older, I have way more faith that I don't have to control
everything all the thime, and it's always interesting to see what directors come
up with, what actors come up with, and at a certain level you just have faith.
With certain actors, I'm absolutely comfortable in letting them go, simply
because they _get_ it, and what comes out of their mouth tends to be within the
universe of the character. With other actors, if I get the feeling that they're
probably not getting it, then their ad lib will die on the editing room floor...
Cathy clearly got it, and was adding great stuff to it, so I'm not going to say,
"That wasn't on the page, so it can't be in the show."

And that's all folks! Now I have to find time to actually watch my tape of the
show...

Your very humble & most obedient servant,
Angela Gottfred

Re; auction for those outside the states:
yes, we have in the past and will now send to winning bidders outside the
states, as long as everyone understands that the shipping rates will be
higher..:)

This NEW address should be the ONLY one listed for
