Subject: Why I write

The long version is on my website but in short I write FK because Nick reminds
me of me and things they share as a family, friends as well, is very warm and
touching. They cut it way too short so we need to keep them growing and
sharing. But above all keep them shining in our lives and the future fans when they
come of age to understand that's how we should live and treat each other, love
and respect. If this sounds a little crazy, I guess I'm not alone and I fit
right in with Fk, Tracker or any vampire, demon that comes along. Stay safe.

Good morning folks!! Delurking on my one day off <vbg>!!

Stealing a quote from Mildred <waves> who was quoting: Roman Gheesling:
>So, are the fans that want to see Nick gain redemption and his humanity
>known as Knight Lights ?
Actually, <grin>, if you watch the GWD intros to the oldish Sci Fi Channel
"Forever Knight Valentine's Day Marathon," Ger uses *that very phrase,* in just
that way. IIRC, (haven't watched them, the intros, in a while), Ger said
folks who wanted to see him gain redemption were known as "Nick Lights," and
those who wanted to see him give over to his dark side and rejoin forces (if you
will) with LaCroix and Janette (again, IIRC), were known as "Nick Darks." He
talked about "Divians," and what he understood other fan factions to be known
as, as well. If you have the intros, watch them, see if I am indeed remembering
correctly <g>. I have them all on one tape, and then I patched them
(spliced) them into the eps that were shown during the last FK Valentine's
Marathon.....

Just my two cents as usual :o)

Posted with McLisa's permission.

I get the NY Times every weekend and usually there are nice ads for
the current or upcoming shows. This past weekend there was a nice
color quarter page ad for Lear. It has a full cast list with Ger's
name.
If anyone wants it just ask. I will send it to the first person who
replies. It will be sent in a cardboard backed envelope.
If I get more requests, I'll hold onto them for next weekend. :)

Hi!
I remember this intro...as well as some on-list discussion as to whether or
not Ger was misinformed about names of factions, since some of them were new to
us. :) Anyone else remember better? (My memory isn't what it used to be since
it got filled with lots of medical facts)

As I recall, the only one he got right was the diviants (followers of
Divia). The others he mentioned were 'Nick Lights" wanted Nick to
explore his human side, and "Nick Darks" who wanted Nick to embrace
his vampire side. I guess the script people for the intros didn't do
much research since the correct terms would me "Knighties" and "Dark
Knighties"
Am I correct?
