Yes, and I think the idea that "fledglings" (our word, FK never used it)
are particularly vulnerable was emphasized from the very beginning of the
series. Another example of this is the way the girl Nick "saves" from
leprosy instantly goes "poof" when he pushes her in the fire.

Very cool, a new category of FK recycling---props and costumes--to add to
locations (such as the "apartment building from hell") and actors.
I actually have one to contribute. Nat wears a black jacket with large
colorful hearts on it in season 1. The jacket shows up later on in the
series on a staffer at the gym where the Countess' doomed patients work
out.

The other night, I was watching 'Dead Man' for the third or fourth time, and
suddenly realized Nobody's girlfriend is played by none other than Michelle
(Marian Blackwing) Thrush!

Another of Gary Farmer's movies that I could watch over and over again is
'Powwow Highway'. I get something different out of that story each time I see
it.

His character, Philbert, reminds me in some ways of Nobody. I think they both
have a similar philosophical outlook.
