That makes me sad because the cousinly plage was one of the first.
It was an old site with no updates but it was one of my favorits!

That's a matter of personal interpretation. To me, the key themes of the
show had to do with personal growth and values. It was about discovering
what your own values are and what it means to live by them.

There were two sorts of "legs" to how this played out in the show. One was
the father-son theme, where Nick is the son, finding his own values, which
means that he must rebel against his father's attempts to inculcate his own
values into Nick. The other is the evil vs. good theme, where Nick is
being pulled in two different directions, and has to make a decision as to
which way to go.

Maybe he made them dreamlike to easily allow for the interpretation that
the whole thing was a dream.

Yes Margie, I agree that this, as well as the battle between good and evil,
were other themes explored in the show. The show had a lot to say about
social values and made viewers think about their own life choices and
realize that we do not live in a world where issues can always be viewed in
terms of black and white.

My comments about faith, love and redemption as key themes were in response
to Amanda's specific question, and I did not mean to imply that these were
the only themes the show dealt with. And, you are right that everything is
open to interpretation.

Mary Beth
