When is this going to be on... or was it already on? Sorry I don't

I find this statement puzzling. Wasn't Tracy in the room during the
interrogation scene in AtA (ie. the scene where Lacroix is
being questioned at the police station after the headless corpse is
found in his beer fridge)? I don't remember since it's been a while
since I rewatched that ep. Although I'm positive that afterwards
while she's talking to Vachon in the car in the parking lot, she
makes reference to getting the feeling of "evil" coming from LC
and she asks Vachon if LC is a vamp. So her character obviously
saw LC at some point at the police station.

Mine too. For much the same reason. The same thought crossed my mind
in Only the Lonely when Nick went out on what I presume was the balcony
leaving the door open behind him. I had visions of Sydney plunging to his
death after a squirrel or bird.

Now it's been a while for me, too, but if Tracy and
LaCroix were never in the same frame, it's entirely
possible that she never really worked with Nigel. <g>
Most TV dramas are filmed with one camera, and there
are an incredible amount of takes to get all the
angles, etc. If we never saw the characters
together, it's entirely possible that they were filmed
separetly. <bg> Dailies, while boring, are a really
interesting way to watch how a show is filmed.

that my brother likes FK!!
Yeah, he is the one who introduced me to the show years ago... (I saw
part of Father's Day on CBS when he told me about a cool show he was
watching at college, but it was on too late and I didn't really watch
it)
I started watching it during the 3rd season and he 'poo-pooed' it, so
I thought he had 'grown' out of it or something.
He knew I liked it--- he bought me Nigel's first book.
But, he recently put up this forum thing on his website and I was
perusing it and he mentioned the FK DVD and how if you're a fan of
Buffy or Angel (many of his friends are) you should check FK out.
I am guessing he saw my dvds sitting on the coffee table when he came
over to do laundry last week.
Kewl.
I just offered him my second set (he is out of work right now and
doesn't have extra money)...
There is an ulterior motive to my generosity... he will take it and
show his friends and .... presto! New fans!

They're all the scenes filmed in a day, from various angles, etc. which are
viewed by the director to decide which take to use. Since this is done
daily, they're called dailies.

"Dailies" are the raw footage shot in one day. <bg>
In a sometimes 16-hour day of shooting, that adds up
to a lot of film! Actually, dailies can be pretty
boring, at least when the actors are getting their
lines right. <bg> The funny stuff is for blooper
reels! ;) There's one shot of the scene for each
camera angle, and at times, for each *character* in
the scene. It can take *hours* to shoot one scene, so
the dailies are usually quite extensive--I've got 16
or so hours of them from Lois and Clark, and I'll
probably be getting more next time I go to the annual
FoLC Fest.
Lots of the time, the dailies include footage that
didn't make it off the cutting room floor, so they can
be interesting to watch as well as a good cure for
insomnia. ;) By raw footage, I mean that it's
pre-music, so you get the actors saying their lines.
I've actually seen a three-five minute scene take up
and hour and a half worth of dailies...

Dailies are what I think are also called "rushes" sometimes.
They are the bits of a day's filming that folks can watch at the end of the
day to see how things are going, looking, etc. They usually include the
multiple takes, mistakes, etc., and are completely unedited.
I'm sure there is more detail to be had, but that has been my understanding
of the term.

It depends. Andromeda is syndicated so it shows up on
individual stations as they want to air it (night and time of
broadcast are individually determined).
In my area, the premiere of the 4th season has already aired.
I have it on tape, but haven't watched it yet - too many DVDs, not
enough time.
Generally, it will appear on a repeat 4-6 episodes into the season.
That again will depend upon the individual station and how they
"recycle" things.

I'm glad to hear that people have got their FK DVDs. Wish I had mine.
Despite the fact that the US Post Office is not supposed to leave packages

No DVDs for me.
Since I'd got them at the mislisted price, there's no way I can get
another set at the regular price and due to a bank screw-up I can't afford
them at the regular price (plus the fact I shouldn't feel I should /have/
to buy a new set - it's not my fault the first set didn't get to me).
And of course, the Post Office won't replace them or reimburse me for
them, as Barnes & Noble didn't ship them insured.
I think this list founder's gonna go trick or treating. At least there,
